當(dāng)美國，英國和澳洲一邊競爭更多的海外學(xué)生，一邊又在防范虛假的學(xué)生簽證申請者時，根據(jù)英國衛(wèi)報6月15日的報導(dǎo)，最近的調(diào)查顯示此種欺騙率已經(jīng)可以變得很低。包括澳洲，英國正在努力改善留學(xué)代理機(jī)構(gòu)的質(zhì)量，代理機(jī)構(gòu)基本負(fù)責(zé)五分之一的海外學(xué)生。一位英國議會創(chuàng)始人已經(jīng)集合多個主要留學(xué)生來源國家的留學(xué)代理通過提供英語課程使他們可以之間能更好的合作包括對政策的理解。

While the US, UK and Australia compete for international students and fears of bogus applicants abusing visa systems persist, recent research suggests fraud risk levels could be low, according to The Guardian (15th June 2010). Along with Australia, The UK is also keen to improve the quality of agents, who are responsible for placing one in five foreign students. A British Council-led initiative has brought together representatives from the main countries offering English language courses to work on co-ordinating policies.
