關于GIT要重點談談City& Regional Planning，GIT的此專業(yè)開設的時間比較早，研究領域非常全面，包括economic development、environmental planning and management、 geographic information systems、land and community development、 land use planning、 transportation、urban design，其中近幾年興起的交通規(guī)劃，非常好就業(yè)，前景越來越被看好，此分支主要關注交通用地規(guī)劃及相關區(qū)域的環(huán)境規(guī)劃。
