大學(xué)概況
羅漢普頓大學(xué)由四所有著300多年歷史的學(xué)院于2004年組成。羅漢普頓是一所獨具特色的大學(xué)。它雖然僅距離離倫敦市中心8公里，但卻坐落在一片美麗的綠野之上，巧妙地將田園風(fēng)光和毗鄰倫敦這兩種優(yōu)勢結(jié)合在一起。大學(xué)的兩個校區(qū)都在羅漢普頓路（Roehampton Lane）上。兩個校區(qū)相距不遠，教學(xué)樓、學(xué)生宿舍、咖啡廳、娛樂場所和體育活動設(shè)施都設(shè)置在校園里。羅漢普頓學(xué)院現(xiàn)有八千名學(xué)生在此攻讀本科和研究生學(xué)位，其中600名為國際學(xué)生。

羅漢普頓大學(xué)共設(shè)有4個學(xué)院，有400多種學(xué)科組合。大學(xué)實施的本科課程單元體系有很大的靈活性，因而深受國際學(xué)生們的青睞。最受國際學(xué)生喜愛的本科課程有商業(yè)學(xué)、商業(yè)計算機、營銷學(xué)、電影研究、心理學(xué)、心理學(xué)與心理咨詢、英語、應(yīng)用英語研究、向母語為非英語者的英語教學(xué)（TESOL）和教育學(xué)。學(xué)校的各種碩士學(xué)位課程中都有國際學(xué)生，特別受歡迎的課程則為管理、藝術(shù)、治療學(xué)、體育、營養(yǎng)學(xué)、衛(wèi)生保健和教育。并開設(shè)傳媒與文化學(xué)習(xí)、兒童文學(xué)研究生預(yù)備課程和管理學(xué)研究生文憑課程。

設(shè)備與住宿

羅漢普頓大學(xué)為來自不同國家或?qū)W習(xí)不同專業(yè)的學(xué)生設(shè)有多種獎學(xué)金。
除了自設(shè)的大學(xué)與課程獎學(xué)金外，學(xué)校還為碩士生設(shè)有盧姆利獎學(xué)金（Lumley Scholarship），金額相當(dāng)于50%的學(xué)費來自以下國家的學(xué)生可以申請國家獎學(xué)金：中國、印度、日本、韓國、馬來西亞、挪威、新加坡、臺灣、泰國、土耳其、美國和越南。
Roehampton is one of the newest universities in the UK, having been established in 2004. At the same time, through our four Colleges which have come together to found the University, we have a proud and distinguished history dating back to the 1840s, particularly in the field of Childhood Studies and Education. Our Colleges were also among the first colleges of higher education in the country to admit women. That tradition of commitment to equality continues to be part of the ethos of Roehampton, which has one of the most diverse communities of students in the UK.
Today the University has a broad range of expertise across the arts and humanities, social sciences and the human and life sciences, at the same time as maintaining its historic strength in education. Studying these subjects at Roehampton means that students acquire the essential skills they need to develop successful careers in a complex and fast changing world.
