1)二者都可表示“對付，應(yīng)付，處理，安排”，但deal是不及物動詞，可與how連用;而do是及物動詞，只與what連用表示上述意義，不能單獨使用。對比：We don’t know what to do with the waste materials./We don’t know how to deal with the waste materials.

2)deal with還可表示“論述，涉及到;與……相處”等意義，而do with 無此用法。如：
