2013年申請(qǐng)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金的五大要素
1. 參加必要的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化考試，并取得優(yōu)秀的語言和考試成績
優(yōu)秀的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化考試成績是申請(qǐng)美國大學(xué)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金必不可少的因素。美國大學(xué)在評(píng)定申請(qǐng)人獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金資助時(shí)，會(huì)要求申請(qǐng)人提供一種或幾種標(biāo)準(zhǔn)考試的成績。美國目前在中國舉行并認(rèn)同的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)考試有：TOEFL/IELTS、SAT、GRE、GMAT、LSAT和TSE。
美國留學(xué)專家建議：參加標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化考試的時(shí)間越早越好，TOEFL有效期為2年，最好達(dá)到106分以上。SAT的有效期為2年，申請(qǐng)學(xué)校的名次與成績成正比，例如TOP20的學(xué)校，成績最好達(dá)到或不低于2200。GRE、GMAT、LSAT的有效期均為5年。但要注意的是GRE、GMAT、與LSAT要力爭一炮打響，因?yàn)檫@些考試都有歷史記錄，ETS寄送成績時(shí)會(huì)把所有考出的成績一并寄到學(xué)校去，而學(xué)校往往會(huì)采取參看每次成績的平均分?jǐn)?shù)，而非最高分?jǐn)?shù)作為考慮標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。相反，TOEFL和SAT考試，只寄送最近或最好的一次考試成績即可，成績不理想可以多次參加考試直到考出理想成績?yōu)橹埂?BR> 2. “給力”的GPA成績或平均分
無論是申請(qǐng)本科還是碩士的學(xué)生，要想獲得獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金，GPA的成績也是重中之重，學(xué)校非?？粗?，因此，如果您想成功申請(qǐng)到美國名校，并且向獲得豐厚的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金，美國留學(xué)專家建議：最好從高一或大一開始，不要偏科，保證每一門會(huì)出現(xiàn)在成績單上的科目成績都不低于80分或保證GPA3.0以上。當(dāng)然有的專業(yè)難度系數(shù)比較高，很難達(dá)到這個(gè)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，但考生仍然要盡力而為。
