QUT s DE40 Bachelor of Design (Architectural studies), along with the DE80 Master of Architecturecourse, is now accredited by the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia, and has received full recognition from the Australian Institute of Architects. At QUT, we adopt a model of 4 years undergraduate and one year master. The Architecture course at QUT is flexible and of the main reasons why it has been the largest Architecture program in Queensland for many years.
QUT has a comprehensive design school, meaning Architecture students can do a second major/minors in any other design area(s) including Interior Design. Feedback from professional architects and design firms confirm that architecture graduates with knowledge of interior design are more valuable and employable in the real world.
