Stop Thief!
抓小偷
Summer vacation was coming. Our teacher asked us to help our parents with the housework. Ipromised my mother that I would do the housework once a day.
暑假到了，老師要求我們幫助家長做家務(wù)。我向媽媽許諾一天做一件事。
One day, I was walking in the street, holding a bottle of oil I had just bought. Suddenly I caughtsight of a young man who was running fast with a purse in his hand. "Stop thief! Stop thief!"cried a woman, running after him.
一天，我走在路上，手里提著一瓶剛買的油。突然我看到一個年輕男子飛快地跑著，手里拿著一個錢包，一個女士在后面追，“抓賊!抓賊!”
At once I knew what had happened. An idea flashed through my mind. In no time I threw thebottle at the young man. The bottle fell to the ground and broke. The thief couldn't avoid itand slipped on the oil and the broken bottle. Together with some nearby people, I rushed upand put my hands on the young man.
我立即明白所發(fā)生的事情，我腦海里突然閃過一個念頭，隨手把酒瓶扔向年輕人，瓶子落在地上摔碎了。小偷躲閃不及，踩在油和玻璃碎片上摔倒了。我和周圍的人上前扭住他。
A policeman came and caught him. The woman got back her purse. Many good words were saidto me. I felt quite happy.
一個警察趕到將小偷抓捕。女士拿回錢包，周圍的人都夸獎我，我感到非常高興。
I walked home with great pleasure. No sooner had I opened the door than I heard a voice, "Bequick, bring me the oil! I am cooking!" "Oil?" My god! I had forgotten about it completely!
我心情愉快地走回家，一開門就聽到：“快點，把油給我!我正炒菜呢!”“油?”天哪!我把它忘得一干二凈!
