一、How to Apply
You can apply via OASIS once you have firmly accepted a conditional or unconditional offer.
To access the Residences Application in OASIS follow the instructions below:
1.Click on Applicants Portal at the bottom of the home page
2.Sign in using your username and password
3.Click on ‘Residences Application and Offer’
4.Follow instructions from there
一旦接受有條件或無(wú)條件的錄取通知書(shū)之后，就可以通過(guò)OASIS申請(qǐng)。
OASIS的宿舍申請(qǐng)流程如下:
1.點(diǎn)擊主頁(yè)下方的Applicants Portal
2.填寫(xiě)用戶名和登錄密碼
3.點(diǎn)擊Residences Application and Offer
4.遵照Residences Application and Offer的指示
You will be asked to make five accommodation choices in order of preference with one being your first choice. Five choices must be made in order to complete the application.
To notify us of any other important information or any specific requests regarding sharing with friends, alcohol-free accommodation or a disability then you can note these in the ‘Special Needs/Comments’ section.
你需要選擇5個(gè)住宿選項(xiàng)，其中一個(gè)作為你的第一選擇。5個(gè)選項(xiàng)都要選，才能完成申請(qǐng)。

二、Alcohol-free accommodation:
Subject to demand, we are offering students the chance to apply for alcohol-free accommodation in our halls of residence (Parker House is not included). Anyone assigned to this type of accommodation (including their guests) must not bring alcohol into the flat (whether for cooking or other consumption). Doing so will contravene your agreement with us.
If you would like to apply for alcohol-free accommodation please note this in the preferences section in the special needs/comments box. We cannot guarantee an offer of this type of accommodation since it is subject to demand.
不飲酒宿舍
我們有數(shù)量有限的不飲酒集體宿舍供學(xué)生申請(qǐng)(不包括Parker House的申請(qǐng))。住這類型住宿的學(xué)生(包括其客人)，不能帶酒進(jìn)宿舍(無(wú)論用于烹飪或是其他消費(fèi))。帶酒進(jìn)宿舍將違反規(guī)定。

三、Who can apply:
New students/first entrants – students coming to Abertay for the first time regardless of what year of the course you are entering.
Allocation priority is given to new students/first entrants who plan to study with the institution for a minimum of one full academic year.

Semester 1 and 2 students – students studying at Abertay for one semester only
Please note we only have a limited number of rooms available for one semester only.
The application will show 40-week and 51-week options. Note that you are studying for one semester only in the 'Special Needs/Further Information' box and then select your choices.

2016-17 lease dates will be as follows (please note that these dates are fixed and non-negotiable):
Semester 1 = 28 August 2016 to 8 January 2017 (19 weeks)
Semester 2 = 8 January 2017 to 4 June 2017 (21 weeks)

四、Allocation policy
When allocating accommodation, the University gives priority to new students/first entrants and to overseas students who are new to Dundee (and studying for one full academic year). The University's accommodation is self-catering and the majority of first-year undergraduates will be housed in blocks of university flats.

You may state your accommodation preference, but while we will make every effort to match your preference, limited availability means this cannot be guaranteed. It is essential that any special needs and/or requirements are entered on the application form.
你可以申明你的住宿偏好，我們會(huì)盡力滿足你的要求，但房間有限，我們不能保證你能申請(qǐng)到。對(duì)于特殊需求或要求，最好在申請(qǐng)表上填寫(xiě)清楚。
Applications will only be considered from students who are prepared to accept the terms of the Student Residences Agreement for their full period of study in the relevant academic year. This is a legally binding agreement and students should not accept the terms without fully understanding their meaning.
