An indispensable prerequisite for starting a course of studies is always documentary evidence of university entrance qualification (HZB). This qualification can be acquired in various ways either at school or through gainful employment.
If you possess a university entrance qualification, this means that you can enrol for any subject with non-restricted admission or apply for admission to a subject with restricted admission.
Since the possibilities for acquisition of a university entrance qualification vary a great deal, we have compiled for you several detailed documents hereunder to provide information and answers to your questions.

Basically, there are two different categories of university entrance qualification:
General university entrance qualification
In principle, the general university entrance qualification provides access to all degree programmes. There is no restriction concerning subjects of study.
(1). General university entrance qualification via graduation from school
(2). General university entrance qualification via vocational qualification
Subject-related university entrance qualification
The subject-related university entrance qualification provides access to certain degree programmes related to subjects previously covered in secondary education or vocational training.
(3). Subject-related university entrance qualification via graduation from school
(4). Subject-related university entrance qualification via vocational training
These two documents are currently being revised and will be available soon.
For subject-related university entrance qualifications, separate examination of every individual case is currently required. Therefore we recommend that you submit a preliminary (online) application to Göttingen University for any subject with restricted admission or lodge an online application for enrolment for degree programmes with non-restricted admission. Your qualification for university studies will be examined in the course of the admission procedure. In the case of a positive decision you will be included in this procedure. In any case you will be notified in writing about the outcome of your application.
普通大學入學證書
原則上，持有普通大學入學證書可以入學所有學位課程，對學習的科目沒有限制。
(1)通過學校畢業(yè)獲得的普通大學入學證書
(2)通過職業(yè)資格獲得的普通大學入學證書
特定學科大學入學證書
持有特定學科大學入學證書可以學習特定的學位課程，所學的課程需要與先前在中學或職業(yè)培訓中學習的課程有關。

這兩個文件目前正在修訂，不久將推出新版。

Proof of University Entrance Entitlement for Applicants from non-EU/EEA States and Stateless Persons
The prerequisite for studying in Germany is proof of the so-called university entrance entitlement.
There are many different education systems worldwide and not all school degrees / university transcripts entitle you to study at the University of Göttingen. There is an evaluation fee of 40 euros for the review or your transcripts / university entrance entitlement.
If the university entrance qualification is not yet completely fulfilled at the time of application, you may apply with preliminary transcripts. The missing documents must then be submitted at the time of enrolment at the latest; a respective condition will be noted in your enrolment documents.

Language Requirements for Programme Admission
For some programmes you must submit proof of sufficient language skills prior to the start of the programme. The proof must not be older than two years (three years in some programmes).
Certification to be submitted at the time of enrolment
Certifications are issued by the respective departments and are required for enrolment; they do not have to be included in the application.
- For American Studies, English (teaching profession), English Philology and English as 2nd subject (together with Business and Human Resource Education), the proof of language proficiency can be acquired during the first year of studies. -

課程入學的語言要求

German language skills requirements for international students/applicants
(1)German language skills requirements at the time of application
All applicants must submit evidence of sufficient German language skills corresponding at least to a successfully completed level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Applicants for Medicine and Dentistry must submit evidence of German language proficiency corresponding to a successfully completed DSH-2-examination or to a certified alternative examination.
All language certificates must be uploaded via the Upload-Portal as well as in translated form, unless the originals are in German, English or French.
(2)German language skills requirements at the time of enrolment
Upon registration/enrolment, all successful applicants who received admission in Göttingen for a regular course of study must submit evidence of German language proficiency corresponding to a successfully completed DSH-2-examination or to a certified alternative examination.
The DSH-examination can be taken at the University of Göttingen. A DSH-certificate which was acquired at a different university will only be accepted if the DSH-examination of this university is accredited by the German Rectors' Conference.
Students are personally responsible for insuring that they have acquired sufficient German language skills prior to the deadline of enrolment.
國際生和國際申請人的德語語言技能要求

可以在哥廷根大學參加DSH考試。如果是在其他大學獲得的DSH證書，那么只有在大學得到德國大學校長會議認證的情況下，證書才會被接受。
