2.Language certificates
語言證書
(1)Direct Admission
The International Office decides on whether the submitted certificates can be recognised as a qualification for direct admission to university or if applicants have to attend a Studienkolleg (preparatory course). Applicants with certificates qualifying for direct admission can be given conditional admission to a degree course if they submit a German language certificate for courses instructed in German or an English language certificate for courses instructed in English. After passing the DSH (Level DSH-2 required) examination, a German language proficiency test known in full as “Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang”, students can begin with their chosen course.
Applicants are exempt from the DSH-2 examination if they hold one of the following certificates:
Zentrale Oberstufenprüfung (ZOP) of the Goethe Institut
Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom of the Goethe Institut
Deutsches Sprachdiplom (Level 2) of the Kultusministerkonferenz
TestDaF level 4 in all test sections
Bilingual courses: Additionally, a TOEFL Test ist required for the bilingual courses.

國際辦公室決定提交的證書是否符合大學(xué)直接入學(xué)資格，決定申請人是否需要參加預(yù)備課程學(xué)習(xí)。所持有的證書符合直接入學(xué)資格的申請人，可以被有條件錄取，進(jìn)入學(xué)位課程學(xué)習(xí)，前提是申請人提交的的語言證書是德語授課課程德語語言證書，或英語授課課程英語語言證書。通過DSH2級考試(全稱叫Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang，屬于德語語言能開考試)之后，學(xué)生可以開始學(xué)習(xí)選定的課程。
申請人如果持有以下任意證書，可以免除DSH-2 考試：
Zentrale Oberstufenprüfung (ZOP) of the Goethe Institut;
Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom of the Goethe Institut;
Deutsches Sprachdiplom (Level 2) of the Kultusministerkonferenz;
TestDaF四級考試
(2)Studienkolleg (Preparatory College)
If the submitted certificates do not qualify for direct admission to studies, applicants must attend a preparatory course at a Studienkolleg before they can start a university degree course. Applicants must submit German language certificates (B1) along with their online application and must pass the entrance examination. The Studienkolleg Darmstadt only offers G- and T-courses. The Studienkolleg ends with the assessment test which must be passed before students can apply for courses at the university. G-courses prepare students for arts, humanities and language subject, T-courses for engineering, mathematics and science subjects.

English language certificates are required for the Master's courses Electrical Power Engineering (EPE), Information and Communication Engineering (ICE), TropHEE, International Cooperation and Urban Development, Materials Science and Distributed Software Systems.

3.Online application for degree programmes
學(xué)位課程線上申請
The online application procedure is a short interview to find out about your academic background and to provide you with information on the range of courses available at the TUD. At the end of the procedure, you will be asked to send your data online to our university. You will get an application number and will be asked to print-out the document. If a direct print-out is not possible, please save the document as a pdf-file on your computer and then print it. Please send the signed printout along with the required certificates to our address. On receipt of this printed form with all the required documents, your application is complete and will be processed.
Online application winter semester 2017/2018 for bachelor's degree courses will be available from May 1, 2017 until July 15, 2017.
For Master's degree courses winter semester 2017/2018 online application is available from April 15, 2017 until July 15, 2017..

6.Degree Programs at the TU Darmstadt
達(dá)姆施塔特工業(yè)大學(xué)學(xué)位課程
The TU Darmstadt offers a broad range of majors, with the focus on applied sciences.
Most courses of study at the TU Darmstadt have already switched over to the new Bachelor and Master degree. All Bachelor courses of study are planned for six semesters, or three years. The Master degrees are designed to cover four semesters. A Bachelor degree is always a prerequisite for a Master degree. Unless otherwise indicated, new students are admitted for the Winter Semester, i.e. starting in mid-October.
