1.Keele International Student Scholarship

About the Award
The Keele International Student Scholarship for undergraduate students is worth GBP2000 deducted from the cost of the annual tuition fees for the duration of your course. Students studying a three-year degree can therefore save GBP6000 from the total cost of their degree studies. Last year our successful applicants came from a variety of countries including China, India, Nigeria, South Africa and Vietnam and they applied for a diverse range of courses including Biomedical Blood Sciences; Finance and Management; Human Rights, Globalisation and Justice; and International Relations.
Eligibility
The Scholarships are awarded to students who can demonstrate excellence in at least two of the following areas:
Academic qualifications,
English Language ability,
Understanding of the course and motivation to study at Keele,
Extra-curricular or work experience
This award is for international fee payers only and can not be combined with any other University funded scholarship or bursary which is intended for international fee paying students. In cases where an applicant is eligible for more than one award, the highest value award will be applied.
Exceptions
Please note that students studying the 5-year undergraduate degree in Medicine, the 4-year undergraduate degree in Pharmacy and the 5-year undergraduate degree in Pharmacy are not eligible for this award.
How to apply
To apply for the KIS Scholarship you must have applied to Keele and been offered a place to study here. You must then complete a separate application form . Applications must have been received and processed before the start of academic year for which the application is made. KISS Scholarships cannot be awarded to students who have already started their degree at Keele.
The International Scholarships Panel, which consists of Academic and International Office staff, will consider applications on a monthly basis. Only one application may be made and any applications made after the relevant deadline will be considered on a case by case basis. The Panel’s decision is final.

About the Award
Students progressing from the International Foundation Year or International Degree Programme Foundation to Year One of a degree course will be automatically awarded a £1,000 bursary for each further year of undergraduate study.
Eligibility
All students progressing from the International Foundation Year or International Degree Programme Foundation to Year One of a degree course.
This award is for international fee payers only and can not be combined with any other University funded scholarship or bursary which is intended for international fee paying students. In cases where an applicant is eligible for more than one award, the highest value award will be applied.
Exceptions
Students can apply for a Keele International Student Scholarship however if successful the total award cannot exceed £2,000 per year.
How to apply
There is no application form as this applies to all IFY and IDP students.

For the highest achieving students progressing from the International Year One programme run by Study Group there is an award of £2, 000 per year for the remainder of the degree. Winners are selected on the basis of their performance throughout the year and particularly during the final exams.

Please note that this is only available to students progressing from the Keele International Study Centre to year 2 of an undergraduate degree course.
This award is for international fee payers only and can not be combined with any other University funded scholarship or bursary which is intended for international fee paying students. In cases where an applicant is eligible for more than one award, the highest value award will be applied.
Exceptions
Students who have repeated a year will not be eligible.

4.Early Payment Incentive

About the Award
For students enrolling in September 2017 Keele University offers an Early Payment Incentive for all new self-funded international fee paying students who pay their full tuition fees (first year fees for undergraduate) before the 1st September. The incentive will take the form of £500 on a KeeleCard for use in all campus facilities, to pay groceries, café and restaurant meals, printing and other services across all of the shops and food outlets at Keele.
Eligibility
All new self-funded international fee paying students who pay their full tuition fees (first year fees for undergraduate) before the 1st September.
Exceptions
This offer is not valid for students enrolling on the International Foundation Year Programme or students transferring from StudyGroup. Students enrolled under full sponsorship or 100% scholarship cannot avail of this incentive. Research students and students on study abroad or exchange are not eligible. If a student subsequently withdraws from the University, the incentive will be deducted from any refund to which they are entitled.
How to apply
To get your hands on a KeeleCard pre-loaded with £500 all you have to do is pay for a year of your tuition fees before 1st September 2017. You can do this by bank transfer or over the phone with a credit card. You will find our bank details in your offer letter. Please remember to include your application number with your payment.
