TU/e welcomes students from all over the world, but before we can grant admission we need to check that your previous educational background is at a sufficient level to participate succesfully in a TU/e program. This includes a specific level of Mathematics and Physics in the last two years of secondary education.

2.Dutch pre-University (vwo) diploma or equivalent

A Dutch pre-University (vwo) diploma qualifies a student for admission to the Dutch Bachelor's programs of Eindhoven University of Technology. If you do not have a Dutch pre-university diploma (vwo) other requirements apply. Your secondary education must be recognized as being equivalent to the Dutch vwo diploma.

3.Dutch nationality with previous education outside the Netherlands

Students with the Dutch nationality, who have completed their previous education outside the Netherlands, are unable to use the Studielink route to admission.

4.Application procedure

All applicants must provide a full application package before any decision can be taken on admission to a Bachelor's program. It is not possible for TU/e to give an indication of eligibility without first receiving a full application package.
The TU/e application procedure takes approximately two months.
All applicants are required to pay an application fee of €100 for each application.

二、Bachelor from a university outside the Netherlands

The general requirements for admission to the TU/e Master's of Science programs for students with a Bachelor’s degree from a university outside the Netherlands are:

1.A relevant Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), based on a program of sufficient academic level and quality to be able to complete the TU/e Master's program in question.
2.A Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 75% of the scale maximum.
3.Sufficient mastery of the English language. In the case of the Master's program Medical Engineering, proficiency in the Dutch language is also required in the form of an NT2 II test.

There may also be specific additional requirements for some Master's programs, depending on the nature of your prior education.
An application fee of €100 is required for each application. This fee is non refundable.

1.the online application form has been filled in
2.all required documents have been uploaded in the online application form,

Regretably it is not possible for TU/e to give an indication of eligibility without first receiving a full application package.

三、PhD programs

If you have obtained a Master degree you can decide to do a PhD, which means you choose to get more deeply involved in research and you are at the beginning of a scientific career. The TU/e Graduate School offers you an extensive range of PhD programs across all departments of the university.

Increase the depth of your research topic

Over a period of four years you develop the capability to carry out independent research. Under the supervision of a professor, you work on a topic that fascinates you and into which you carry out further research. That means you need plenty of curiosity and motivation to increase the depth of your research topic.

Doing a PhD at Eindhoven

There are different options for doing a PhD at Eindhoven. Most PhD candidates will be hired by Eindhoven University of Technology. In that case, you have to apply for an announced and specific PhD position. If you are accepted, you will have the status of a TU/e employee during the four years doing your PhD. That means you will receive a salary and have excellent secondary conditions of employment.
