International Merit Scholarship
This provides awards of either ￡500 or ￡1,000 to well-qualified students applying for any full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught courses towards their first year of full time study. Awards are made on the basis of academic merit. Once you apply for a course at Anglia Ruskin you’ll be automatically considered for a scholarship and details of any award given will be included in your offer letter.

Alumni Scholarship
Postgraduate taught (Masters)
We’re pleased to offer our former international students the opportunity to save ￡1,000 on any full-time taught Master’s Degree starting in 2017/8*. Your Master’s Degree application will be automatically assessed for eligibility for the Alumni Scholarship.
* The scholarship isn’t applicable to distance learning courses, courses delivered in conjunction with collaborative partners or interim awards such as Postgraduate Certificates and Diplomas (except Legal Practice Course PG Dip) . To be eligible for the Alumni Scholarship, all applicants must have successfully completed their award (undergraduate degree or equivalent) with Anglia Ruskin University at one of our core campuses (Cambridge, Chelmsford or Peterborough). The Alumni Scholarship cannot be awarded in conjunction with the Lord Ashcroft Business School MBA Scholarship.
Postgraduate Research
If you are applying for a Postgraduate Research course, you will be eligible for a ￡400 discount per annum (pro rata for part-time students). You do not need to fill in the scholarship application form - you’ll automatically receive this discount as part of your application.

Transfer Scholarship
If you are transferring from a partner institution with which we have a co-operation agreement you may receive a ￡1,000 transfer scholarship as a reduction of your tuition fees. At the moment we have an agreement with the London School of Accountancy.

Business School International Progression Scholarship
As a graduate of one of our Business school courses our International Progression Scholarship gives you ￡1,500 discount on course fees when you progress from our undergraduate onto any of our postgraduate taught courses. (International students only).

International Excellence Scholarship
Up to 30 awards of ￡3000 will be awarded towards the first year of full time study (undergraduate and postgraduate taught). Scholarships will be assessed based on the criteria below:
Academic qualifications – Students achieving the equivalent to a minimum of three A levels at B for Undergraduate courses or above or a 2:1 or above for Postgraduate courses will be considered
Your motivation to study at ARU and relevant extra curricula activity or work experience. This will be assessed from your personal statement
Complete application with all relevant supporting documentation to study a full time course at ARU submitted by the 14 July 2017
Students achieving this award will be notified no later than the 31 July 2017. The awardees will be selected at the discretion of the International Admissions Team. Please also note that this scholarship can not be combined with any other scholarships or early payment discounts.

ARU Sports Scholarship
We offer the opportunity to apply for a sports scholarship worth up to ￡1,000 for three years. Each award is tailored to suit individual needs and combines high quality performance support services with fantastic facilities that will add value to your existing training programme. This scholarship can be awarded with International Merit Scholarship, Alumni Scholarship or Business School International Progression Scholarship.

GREAT India Scholarship
This scholarship is delivered in partnership with the British Council in India. It’s designed to support 5 Indian students resident in India at the time of their application to study at Anglia Ruskin University.
The course must be from an approved list . Each successful student will be awarded ￡5,000. There will be a maximum of five awards.
The deadline for this scholarship application is Friday 14 July 2017.

The Global Study Awards want to ultimately encourage young people to study abroad as part of their tertiary studies in order to experience and explore new countries, cultures and languages. That is why ISIC Association, StudyPortals and British Council IELTS are launching The Global Study Awards. The Global Study Awards recognises studying abroad as a positively life changing experience for many students, opening their minds to alternative ways of personal life and professional career, as well as promoting intercultural understanding and tolerance. You can get up to ￡10,000.00 to expand your horizon. Maximum of nine awards available.
