There are more than 100 culture and sport club activities in the university. You can find common ground with other students to share your interest and ambitions. It will surely make your campus lives rich and fun!

International Student Community (ISC)
This is a club for international students. There are various fun gatherings and activities to share the experiences and helpful information among members.

Ecolosuke
This is the largest club in the university, known for its unique activities among other universities. One of their activities is to perform as Eco Rangers: they dress up like action hero figures and appeal the significance of preservation of environment to local kids and people. One of the club members says, “It is really great that we can directly send our message to kids while having fun together. I believe this student activity should make a good change in the society.”

Osaka Prefecture University Orchestra
This club, consisting of about 60 students has a history of over 50 years. What’s unusual about the club compared to other student orchestras is that it has its own student conductor, which enables students to make open and straightforward discussions on an equal basis. The regular concert is scheduled in June and December.

Their dojyo (training hall) is always full of energy. Kendo is an ancient form of Japanese martial art, which attracts many people till today. As one of their international activities, the members visit overseas dojyos to play matches against international participants.

Manga (cartoon) Club
Japanese animated cartoon and comic books are very popular in many countries nowadays. In the club, members enjoy drawing, reading comic books, playing games etc. The club magazines are issued on a regular basis.

1) Emergency telephone numbers
*Traffic accident, robbery etc. Call the POLICE at 110
*Fire & ambulance Call the FIRE STATION at 119
緊急電話
遇到交通事故、搶劫等，可以撥打110，聯(lián)系警方;
遇到火災(zāi)、急救等，可以撥打119，聯(lián)系消防站。
2) Garbage disposal
Garbage should be taken out to a designated place during a designated period of time on designated days of the week. Collection rules differ by area or by apartment, and the recyclable trash should be separated from non-recyclable garbage. Ask your landlord or neighbors about the information of your area/apartment.
垃圾處理
應(yīng)該于每周指定時間到指定地點處理垃圾。各個地區(qū)和部門的回收規(guī)定不一樣，可回收垃圾應(yīng)該和不可回收垃圾分開?？梢宰稍兎繓|或鄰居，了解所在地區(qū)和部門相關(guān)規(guī)定。
3) Moving
BEFORE moving
National Health Insurance program : In case you move out of the city, go to the municipal office to notify them of your move and withdraw from the program.
Utility Charge : Call utility and other service companies (electricity, gas, water, telephone, NHK subscription, cell phone etc.) to inform them of your move and moving date at least one week prior to your move.
Mail Forwarding Service : After you move out, mails sent to your former address can be forwarded to your new address for one year. Fill in and submit (or send) the Change of Address Notice at the post office.
AFTER moving
International Office : Notify the staff of your address change.
National Health Insurance program & Alien Registration : Participate in the National Health Insurance program, and report the address change to the municipal office for alien registration.
Bank : Notify them of your address change.
搬走
搬走之前
1.國民醫(yī)療保險項目：搬離城市之前，到市政辦公室告訴相關(guān)人員你要搬走，讓他們幫你退出國民醫(yī)療保險項目。
2.設(shè)施費用：至少提前一周聯(lián)系公用企業(yè)公司和其他服務(wù)公司(電、氣、水、電話、NHK訂閱、手機等)，告訴他們你要搬走。
3.快遞轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)服務(wù)：搬走之后，發(fā)到先前地址的快遞會發(fā)新地址，服務(wù)期為一年?？梢脏]政填寫并提交或發(fā)送“改變地址通知”、
搬走之后
1.國際辦公室：將新地址告知工作人員。
2.國民醫(yī)療保險項目和外僑登記：加入國民醫(yī)療保險項目，將新地址告知市政辦公室，以便做外僑登記。
3.銀行：將新地址告知銀行。
4) Student Discount/Free Pass
There are various discount passes/coupons available for students
a)Transportation
Regular students (undergraduate and graduate) are eligible for a student pass. When purchasing the pass, present your Student Certificate issued by the university to get a discount. Non-regular students and research students can purchase a commuters pass. The discount rates can be checked at railroad stations and online.
b)Free Pass for cultural facilities
Osaka Foundation of International Exchange (OFIX) provides students with a “College Student” status with free passes for certain historic spots, museums and other cultural facilities. The pass is issued around April and October to eligible students through the International Office.

b)文化設(shè)施免票
大阪國際交換基金會為持有大學生簽證的學生提供免票，可免費參觀特定歷史遺址、博物館和其他文化設(shè)施。免票在四月和十月左右通過國際辦公室向符合資格的學生發(fā)放。
Part time JobInternational students with a “College Student” status are not allowed to work or engage in activities for pay without the permission of the Immigration Office. There are certain types of jobs and sectors students should not be involved in. Those who wish to get a part time job can consult the International Office (A3).
Fill out and submit the Application Form to the immigration office.
After the permission is obtained, bring your passport (with the official seal of working permission on it) to the International Office.
兼職
持有大學生簽證的國際學生，需要得到移民辦公室的許可，才能帶薪工作或參加帶薪活動。有些工作和行業(yè)是學生不能做的。有意兼職的學生可以咨詢國際辦公室。
填寫申請表，并將申請表提交給移民辦公室。
得到許可之后，帶蓋有工作許可公章的護照到國際辦公室。
