Eligibility:New international students commencing in 2018.

Benefits:Fifty percent of tuition fees per annum up to a maximum three year. The scholarship is a tuition fee waiver and does not cover costs associated living expenses, accommodation, transport, overseas student health cover or other costs associated with study.

He/she is applying to study a program located at Sydney City campus.
He/she has been awarded another scholarship by the University or another organisation that covers the cost of the tuition fees (fully or partially) to study at Western Sydney University.

Application and Selection Process
Short-listing will be carried out by a panel of officers from the University, chaired by the Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) or a delegated representative. No separate scholarship application will be required.
Finalists will be notified via email by the university and will be requested to provide a statement in support of their application indicating how they believe the scholarship will assist them with their studies and in their future career.

Closing date: 31 October 2017 (Non UAC applications) and 7 January 2018 (UAC applications)
Future rounds may be opened based on availability of the scholarship. Apply early to avoid disappointment.

Western Sydney International is offering scholarship awards to outstanding international students enrolling in undergraduate coursework programs.
Eligibility
New international students commencing an undergraduate coursework program at Western Sydney University in 2018.
Awards are granted on the basis of academic merit.
Courses
Any CRICOS registered undergraduate degree (except Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery).
Benefits and duration
A one-off $5,000 contribution towards tuition fees. The amount will be credited towards scholarship recipient's second semester tuition fees.
The scholarship is a tuition fee waiver and does not cover costs associated with living expenses, accommodation, transport, overseas student health cover or other costs associated with study.

Note: In order for your scholarship application to be considered, you must also submit an application to study at Western Sydney University.

Australia Awards Scholarships
The Australia Awards Scholarship is a prestigious international scholarship funded by the Australian Government that aims to contribute to the long term development needs of Australia's partner countries, in line with bilateral and regional agreements. The scholarship provides students the opportunity to study in Australia to build the skills and knowledge to promote development in their home country. Scholarships are mainly at postgraduate level however there is a limited number of undergraduate scholarships (country specific).

Scholarship Value
Full tuition fees, return home travel, establishment allowance, contribution to Living Expenses (CLE), Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), Supplementary Academic Support, air tickets for field trip (for research student only).
Application Process
You need to apply directly to the Australia Award managing office in your country to be considered for an Australia Award Scholarship. Closing dates vary from country to country. In most countries, applications for scholarships close in approximately May of the previous year.

澳大利亞獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金由澳大利亞政府出資，是一項(xiàng)富有聲譽(yù)的國(guó)際獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金。澳大利亞政府獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金的目標(biāo)是根據(jù)雙邊協(xié)議和區(qū)域協(xié)議，為與澳大利亞有合作的國(guó)家的長(zhǎng)期發(fā)展需求做貢獻(xiàn)。澳大利亞獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金為學(xué)生提供機(jī)會(huì)，讓他們可以在澳大利亞學(xué)習(xí)，鞏固知識(shí)技能，進(jìn)而推動(dòng)自己國(guó)家的發(fā)展。澳大利亞獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金主要針對(duì)研究生階段，不過(guò)在本科階段也有一定的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金名額(限于特定國(guó)家)。

獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金金額：涵蓋全額學(xué)費(fèi)、回國(guó)旅費(fèi)、設(shè)施補(bǔ)貼(establishment allowance)、生活補(bǔ)助、海外學(xué)生健康保險(xiǎn)費(fèi)、額外的學(xué)術(shù)支持和研究型學(xué)生野外考察機(jī)票補(bǔ)貼。
獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金申請(qǐng)流程：需要直接向本國(guó)的澳大利亞獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金管理辦公室申請(qǐng)，才會(huì)被獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金空考慮。截止日期各國(guó)有所不同。對(duì)于大多數(shù)國(guó)家，獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金在前一年的五月左右截止。
