Application and Selection Process
Short-listing will be carried out by a panel of officers from the University, chaired by the Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) or a delegated representative. Applicants will be ranked based on the selection criteria and the panel's review. No separate scholarship application will be required.
Finalists will be notified via email by the university and will be requested to provide a statement in support of their application indicating how they believe the scholarship will assist them with their studies and in their future career.

School of Social Sciences & Psychology Postgraduate International Scholarship
The School of Social Sciences & Psychology (SSAP) is offering scholarship awards to international students enrolling in selected postgraduate coursework programs within the School.
The scholarship will cover the described amount below of the annual tuition fees for maximum of 2 years:
·20% of the cost of tuition fees for students with a minimum GPA of 4.5 on a 7 point scale in their undergraduate degree.
·30% of the cost of tuition fees for students with a minimum GPA of 5 on a 7 point scale in their undergraduate degree
·The academic performance of these scholarship holders would be reviewed at the conclusion of each semester of study at the School of Social Sciences & Psychology. The scholarship will be continued if the student maintains GPA of 4.5 or 5 respectively.

Scholarship conditions
The conditions of the SSAP Postgraduate International Scholarship are:
1.The student must be a new international student to Western Sydney University
2.The student must satisfy all conditions for admission to the eligible WSU courses listed above
3.The student must apply to study within the School of Social Sciences & Psychology in 2017
4.The student must enrol in a full time load each semester
5.The student must successfully complete all units each semester
6.The scholarship will be rescinded if the student fails a unit in any semester
7.The scholarship is paid directly by the University to the students' university enrolment account each semester of enrolment as appropriate and is not paid as cash
8.The scholarship is not transferable to another student
9.The scholarship will lapse if not taken up in 2017

The scholarship is a tuition fee waiver and does not cover costs associated with living expenses, accommodation, transport, overseas student health cover or any other costs associated with study. The Scholarship does not cover tuition fees for any repeat units. The Scholarship will not cover units that are delivered by Schools other than Social Sciences and Psychology at Western Sydney University.

Eligibility
Students are not eligible if:
·They are a citizen of Australia or New Zealand, or hold permanent residency in Australia.
·They are a study abroad or an exchange student coming to the University.
·They are currently enrolled.
·They are applying to study a program located at Sydney City campus.
·They are deferring their offer to commence study in a different intake for which a scholarship offer has been made. They will be required to submit a new scholarship application for the intake they have requested a deferment for.
·They have been awarded another scholarship by the University.
How to apply
·The scholarship will be offered to eligible students upon the successful outcome of their course application
·Students are not required to complete a separate application form for this scholarship

(3)當(dāng)前注冊(cè)的學(xué)生;
(4)正申請(qǐng)學(xué)習(xí)悉尼校區(qū)課程的學(xué)生;
(5)推遲錄取，入學(xué)時(shí)間與獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金時(shí)間錯(cuò)開的學(xué)生。這類學(xué)生在入學(xué)的時(shí)候，需要提交新的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金申請(qǐng);
(6)已獲得西悉尼大學(xué)其他獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金的學(xué)生。

獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金將在學(xué)生成功申請(qǐng)到課程之后提供給學(xué)生。
