Bedrooms
All our bedrooms:

Have a lockable cupboard to store your personal items if you're heading off campus for session break.
Rooms in self-catered accommodation contain a bar-fridge.
You're welcome to bring along personal items, aside from furniture, to make your CSU accommodation your home away from home.

Some rooms at CSU include an ensuite, while others have shared bathrooms and toilets. Check the accommodation listing for your chosen CSU campus for details.

Kitchens
The kitchens in our self-catered residences are equipped with a fridge, oven and microwave, along with a separate, lockable cupboard space for each resident. You will need to bring your own crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans, and washing-up items.
Catered residences have kitchenettes with a kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave. You can buy main meals at food outlets on campus using the meal credits that come with your accommodation package, which can be topped up as required.
Semi-catered accommodation packages provide a self-catered residence but include a number of meal credits for flexibility to grab a quick meal on the go.

Cleaning
Common rooms, kitchens and bathrooms in all residences are cleaned regularly. But you'll need to clean your own room and contribute to any shared areas by removing your rubbish, keeping the fridge clean, and washing up and putting away utensils after you cook.

Meals and catering
Some CSU accommodation options include a meal plan, and most of them allow you to add a meal plan if you'd like. You can also choose a meal plan in self-catered accommodation.

How it works
A meal plan gives you a number of Meal Credits and/or Flexi Points, depending on which plan you choose. You can spend these at your campus central dining outlet. You just swipe your CSU Card and you're good to go. You can top up Flexi Points at any time or upgrade your meal plan.
You can also upgrade your meal plan from the one that may be included in your accommodation package. You can do this when you accept your accommodation offer.

Our cottage-style accommodation on campus at CSU in Dubbo provides a welcoming home away from home for students moving away to attend university.
All rooms are fully furnished with a bed, mattress, desk, wardrobe and chair. Washing machines, dryers and clotheslines are also available in the residential community. All costs are included in your room rate.

Room cancellations
If you decide to cancel your accommodation after the the commencement date (as specified in the letter of offer), you'll need to pay your full package fees for your accommodation in addition to the cancellation fee.

Payments
Full time residents pay weekly or fortnightly via BPOINT (Direct Debit). Direct Debit registration is completed as a part of your accommodation acceptance and instructions are sent to residents with their accommodation offer.
Annual fees can be paid up front in full. Students paying upfront must still fill out the Direct Debit registration and this will be cancelled when CSU has received full payment.
Note on payments for Package 1 Residents - Direct Debit continues over the break periods for Package 1 students, however, the total paid is equivalent to 29 weeks accommodation/meals.
