1) Students with a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification
本科及以上學(xué)歷的學(xué)生
Students (regardless of nationality) who already hold a degree or higher qualification will be eligible to receive Tuition Grant if they are offered admission into a second course of the same or lower level at Singapore's publicly-funded tertiary institutions, as long as they did not attain their degree or higher qualification through subsidy by Ministry of Education (MOE) or sponsorship by the Singapore Government.
只要擁有本科及以上學(xué)歷，任何國(guó)籍的學(xué)生都可以在申請(qǐng)新加坡國(guó)立高等教育機(jī)構(gòu)的第二門課程(平行或低于第一課程的水平)之后，獲得助學(xué)金。前提條件是他們已獲得或即將獲得的學(xué)位不是在教育部或本國(guó)政府的資助下完成的。
Singapore citizens are required to complete a Declaration for Tuition Grant Eligibility form to enable the university to assess their eligibility for the Tuition Grant.Non-Singapore Citizens, including Permanent Residents, will need to apply for the Tuition Grant Scheme and sign the Tuition Grant Agreement, which requires them to work in Singapore-based companies for 3 years upon graduation.
新加坡公民需要填寫一張助學(xué)金申明表，以便學(xué)校鑒定本人是否具有申請(qǐng)資格。非本國(guó)公民(包括永久性居民)，需要申請(qǐng)助學(xué)金計(jì)劃并與政府簽訂助學(xué)金協(xié)議，保證保證從本校畢業(yè)后在新加坡境內(nèi)的公司工作三年。
2) Transfers within SMU or from the other publicly-funded tertiary institutions or re-admitted undergraduate students
本校或其他公立高等學(xué)校的轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)生，以及重新錄取的研究生
Students (regardless of nationality) who transfer or are re-admitted within SMU or are transferred from the other publicly-funded tertiary institutions will be eligible for Tuition Grant up to the maximum course duration of the new course at SMU (that is, 4 years), after subtracting the number of semesters of Tuition Grant received for the previous degree course.
Number of semesters of Tuition Grant eligible for new course = Maximum course duration for new course – Number of semesters of Tuition Grant received for previous course
本校或由本校重新錄取的研究生，以及其他公立高等學(xué)校的轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)生有資格享有助學(xué)金?？缮暾?qǐng)年份=新課程在讀年份(最多四年)—攻讀之前學(xué)位課程的學(xué)期數(shù)。
