In total, 10 UK universities appear in the Global University Employability Ranking 2017, designed by HR consultancy Emerging and published exclusively by Times Higher Education. The ranking reveals which universities recruiters at top companies think are the best at preparing students for the workplace.
Four of the UK universities are London institutions, but there is a spread of universities from the North to the South.
The universities of Cambridge and Oxford take the first two positions. The University of Cambridge was the only UK university to enter into the top 10 of the overall top 150 of the Graduate Employability Ranking.
The University of Edinburgh was the only Scottish university to make the overall ranking, coming in at number 78.
