英國(guó)留學(xué)套磁信的書寫技巧。
1.別用新浪，中華，163什么的信箱，有可能會(huì)被當(dāng)成垃圾郵件直接掃進(jìn)垃圾箱里了。這個(gè)是最郁悶的，也是如果教授不回信最有可能發(fā)生的問題。如果有GMAIL是最保險(xiǎn)的。
我?guī)徒淌诳此]箱的時(shí)候，閑的時(shí)候會(huì)打開垃圾箱看看。上面提到的幾個(gè)，特別是新浪的，很容易被掃進(jìn)去的。
2.標(biāo)題寫的吸引人一點(diǎn)。用HELLO，HELP這樣的，根據(jù)我的觀察，教授也通常連看都不看，直接就掃了。因?yàn)楹芏嗖《拘偶际沁@樣的標(biāo)題。
3.正文。千萬(wàn)不要寫的太長(zhǎng)。不要寫的像AW那樣的。越簡(jiǎn)明越清楚越好。不要寫太長(zhǎng)的句子，不用寫的太有文采，文采可以放在你的RP里展示。分段要清楚，最好兩段中間擱一行。(好多人寫來(lái)的信，我都有要改作文的沖動(dòng))把最重要最想問的問題放在開頭問，有必要的話結(jié)尾再問一遍。
4.不論他是副教授還是咋地，一律稱呼他為DEAR PROF.是人他就愛聽好聽的啊!(當(dāng)然小米就不用這么叫了，無(wú)論結(jié)沒結(jié)過婚的，一律叫MS就可以了。)其實(shí)把自己寫的牛與否，教授是不是太在乎的，只要展示自己最真實(shí)的一面就可以了。
5.如果怕自己E文表達(dá)不清楚，可以裝一個(gè)微軟2003或者紫光，有繁體輸入的軟件，寫繁體信件是完全沒有問題的。這邊好多系統(tǒng)都不自動(dòng)識(shí)別簡(jiǎn)體。
總體來(lái)說(shuō)，使用“套磁”申請(qǐng)博士要比申請(qǐng)碩士有用，因?yàn)榇T士是沒有導(dǎo)師帶的;申請(qǐng)理工科比文科有用，因?yàn)閷?duì)于理工科的同學(xué)，你所拿到的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金其實(shí)就是教授的研究經(jīng)費(fèi)的一部分，因此與其說(shuō)是學(xué)校給你發(fā)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金不如說(shuō)是教授給你發(fā)。而對(duì)于文科，情況完全不同，研究經(jīng)費(fèi)一般由院系決定，教授可以起到的作用很有限。
如何通過套磁來(lái)增加自己的錄取機(jī)率？
一、分清楚專業(yè)再套磁
想要進(jìn)行高校的套磁，大家一定要分清楚專業(yè)，因?yàn)椴⒉皇撬袑I(yè)都是需要套磁的。相對(duì)來(lái)說(shuō)，如果是文科生的話，選擇套磁并沒有太大的意義，因?yàn)樘状鸥舆m合理科生。對(duì)于理科生來(lái)說(shuō)，獲得的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金是屬于教授研究經(jīng)費(fèi)當(dāng)中的一部分，所以教授更加有資格決定，是否要給你頒發(fā)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金。
相對(duì)來(lái)說(shuō)，文科生的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金一般都是由院校決定的，教授所起的作用非常有限。另外，申請(qǐng)需要知道的是，套磁并不是萬(wàn)能的，只是增加大家成功錄取以及獲得獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金的幾率，而且還需要靠申請(qǐng)者和導(dǎo)師之間的有效溝通才可以。
二、套磁的時(shí)間問題
對(duì)于申請(qǐng)者來(lái)說(shuō)，申請(qǐng)材料都是寄給學(xué)校之后，然后才開始考慮套磁的問題。但是提醒大家，這個(gè)時(shí)候套磁的人會(huì)很多所以反而沒有什么太大的效果。如果想要有不錯(cuò)效果的套磁，那么建議大家在半年之前就可以開始準(zhǔn)備了，也就是入學(xué)前一年的6/7月份左右時(shí)間。但是這個(gè)時(shí)間，很多申請(qǐng)者還要忙于考試的準(zhǔn)備。
