一、松散例證法
松散例證就是用簡短句組成對人物的簡要描述，并用特定連詞將前后描述聯(lián)系起來，其往往可以使用固定句式開頭，如：
—Take sb. for example
—One of the best examples is that of sb.
—The example of sb. best supports the view
而下面的句子則可以使用連詞連接簡單句，推薦幾種結(jié)構(gòu)常在連接結(jié)構(gòu)時(shí)使用：
—……, and he went on/continued to do sth.
—……, but he never/hardly did sth.
—……, thus/thereby doing sth.
—……, instead of doing sth.
例：
The example of Thomas Edison best supports the view. He achieved innumerable honors throughout his life, but he never abandoned his pursuit of new purposes.
二、結(jié)構(gòu)例證法
結(jié)構(gòu)例證法可以從容地將對于人物的簡要描述直接聯(lián)系起來，從而便于考生直接添加合適的信息，并且運(yùn)用良好的句式結(jié)構(gòu)把句子內(nèi)容組織起來。
人物描述無外乎幾個(gè)方面：
人物的特點(diǎn)，可以選用形容詞概括;
人物的內(nèi)容，可以使用定語從句豐富;
再使用定語從句將例證語言和人物描述聯(lián)系起來;
必要的話還可以使用同位語從句再度引用上文提出的觀點(diǎn)bsp; 人物概括 ), 人物 , who 描述豐富 , 描述 , which best exemplifies the view that 觀點(diǎn) /is often viewed as the best example of the view that 觀點(diǎn)
例：
The famous Chinese athlete, LiuXiang, who has won the Olympic golden medal and kept the world record, is never afraid of being challenged and regards his process of racing as a pleasure, which is often viewed as the best example of the view that confidence is necessary in people’s career.(2007)
