1、自我認識
想一矢中的，首先必須認清自我，一定要弄清以下三個問題。 你現(xiàn)在是干什么的？你將來要干什么？你過去是干什么的？
這三個問題不是按時間順序從過去到現(xiàn)在再到將來，而是從現(xiàn)在到將來再到過去。其奧妙在于：如果你被雇用，雇主選中的是現(xiàn)在的你，他希望利用的是將來的你，而這將來又基于你的`歷史和現(xiàn)狀。
所以，第一個問題，你是干什么的？現(xiàn)在是干什么的？回答這個問題，要點是：你是你自己，不是別的什么人。除非你把自己與別人區(qū)別開來，在共同點的基礎上更強調不同點，否則你絕無可能在眾多的應征求職者中奪魁。 對于這第一個問題，自我反省越深，自我鑒定就越成功。
隨后，著手回答第二個問題：你將來要干什么？如果你申請的是一份舉足輕重的工作，雇主肯定很關注你對未來的自我設計。你的回答要具體，合理，并符合你現(xiàn)在的身份，要有一個更別致的風格。
然后，再著手回答最后一個問題：你過去是干什么的？你的過去當然都在履歷上已有反映。你在面試中再度回答這個問題時，不可忽略之處是：不要抖落一個與你的將來毫不相干的過去。如果你中途徹底改行，更要在描述你的執(zhí)著、職業(yè)目標的一貫性上下些功夫。要做到這一點，又要忠實于事實和本人，最簡單的方法是：找到過去與將來的聯(lián)系點，收集過去的資料，再按目標主次排列。
用這樣的方法，以現(xiàn)在為出發(fā)點，以將來為目標，以過去為證實，最重要的是加深了你的自我分析和理解。其實，在面試的時候不一定有機會或者有必要照搬你的大作，但這三個問題的內在聯(lián)系點一定會體現(xiàn)在自我表述的整體感覺中，使你的形象栩栩如生。
2、投其所好
清楚自己的強項后，便可以開始準備自我介紹的內容：包括工作模式、優(yōu)點、技能，突出成就、專業(yè)知識、學術背景等。
好處眾多，但只有短短一分鐘，所以一切還是與該公司有關的好。如果是一間電腦軟件公司，應說些電腦軟件的話題；如是一間金融財務公司，便可跟他說錢的事，總之投
其所好。
但有一點必須緊記：話題所到之處，必須突出自己對該公司可以作出的貢獻，如增加營業(yè)額、減低成本、發(fā)掘新市場等。
3、鋪排次序
內容的次序亦極重要，是否能抓住聽眾的注意力，全在于事件的編排方式。所以排在頭位的，應是你最想他記得的事情。而這些事情，一般都是你最得意之作。與此同時，可呈上一些有關的作品或紀錄增加印像分。
