Section 1 is about the theft happen in the street. The key words are West Street,where the thieves’ car is waiting there. An elderly women was robbed her wallet and $50 in it, fortunately her is unhurt. A witness reported the robbery to policeman.The young thief was 17, curly black hair, tall and slim, whereas the elder thief is 35y/o, the distinguished feature is a small scar in his chins. Section 2 is about the university resources. IN library you can borrow books,cassettes, videos. The other key words are book advance. There are 300 hundred students in the course, but only 150 was new students. Teachers are mainly from United States, South Africa and Australia; this should fill 3 in teachers’ nationality.Section 3 is telling the story of Wrighters Brother. Wrighters Brother record can compare the data and found it was completely wrong. They solved two problems:
Wind Design by using wind tunnels, and second problem I can’t remember. At same time in Sydney and New Zealand there are similar experiments. Section 4 is about planning the trees. Firstly tell about the benefits of tree: reduce windy, maintain humid, less dangerous etc. It keeps temperature below 20 centigrade. It keeps low noise frequency pass through. It evaporates water. Thee three factors for tree evaporation are sunlight, water and room to grow.

IELTS聽力使用的試卷號為No.25。前七題主要針對一段男女對話，介紹女方的家人，要求考生聽出該女生老爸抵英年份及其父母之職業(yè)，并選出符合其祖母外貌及性格特征的選項，夠簡單的吧？接下來的兩題是典型的送分題-在聽畢一段短對話后，在表格中填其中一男生之父移民英國的年份及其姐所生小孩子的數(shù)目。簡單之至，可謂"一耳了然"，樂得我直張嘴笑。
However，下幾題就不那么好對付了。該部分為學(xué)校教員講給新生聽的"financial advices"，不外乎是如何開源節(jié)流，使自己有限的貨幣實行價值最大化而已，其餿主意包括：不要一次性購買所有學(xué)校要求買的書籍或儀器，而是分清輕重緩急，重要的東西先買，或買二手貨，或與同學(xué)分擔(dān)(包括房租和交通費)。如遇困難或需幫助，可與學(xué)生會聯(lián)系。這不禁讓我聯(lián)想起我的外教，她就喜歡將用過的飲料瓶整整齊齊地擺放在陽臺上，達到一定規(guī)模后賣掉，還教導(dǎo)我們說這就是"環(huán)保意識"，但中國人卻想百思不得其解：就這點小錢你也省呀？這可與富國公民的身份不符噢。恐怕這就是所謂的"culture
shock"吧？
大多考生此部分有一處未能聽出，至少我有些許氣餒。好在下一段話難度系數(shù)不大，使人做題情緒得以回升。一對藝術(shù)系的學(xué)生在商量如何錄制一檔錄像節(jié)目，要求考生聽出參加錄制工作的人員姓名、職務(wù)分工(編劇、導(dǎo)演還是攝影)、片名(A College Tour)、拍攝景物、采訪對象(如為何選擇采訪普通教師而非校長)、對作品質(zhì)量的擔(dān)憂何在以及下一次討論的時間。該部分位于考卷的第五頁和第六頁的上半部分。此處出了聽力部分乃至整個IELTS考試唯一的三道選擇題。So far, so good.
最后一部分是一位女教授的lecture，關(guān)于英國歷史上某一特定的土地輪作制度-Three Field System的歷史沿革及發(fā)展軌跡。該部分的題目篇幅很大，為第七、第八頁兩面大紙。不過千萬不要犯暈，這兩大篇之上只需考生填十個左右的空。由于整個講座的Outline已給出，在未聽磁帶之前，有好些空處已可大致猜出填空的內(nèi)容，是數(shù)字抑是專有名詞，是機構(gòu)名抑或是人名，是數(shù)詞 (年代、數(shù)目) 抑或是形容詞。這樣，可以有目的地去聽(listen with purpose)，答案決不會輕易錯過。雅思考試的友好之處由此可見一斑。在托福聽力考試中，考生只能通過閱讀題目及選項窺得錄音文本的冰山一角，且好容易搶讀到的選項可能為極具誤導(dǎo)性的錯誤選項。IELTS聽力試題則大大方方地將整個講話的summary呈現(xiàn)給考生，讓人一方面大罵鬼子低估中國人的英文水平，一方面反復(fù)質(zhì)疑：最后一部分是重頭戲，咋會這般簡單呢？總之，該部分不是整個聽力考試的最難處。此外，該教授真的很nice，全文以緩慢清晰的英文念出，象幼稚園的阿姨給小朋友講故事。我在心里默默祈禱明天的Interview考官也是這樣一位慈祥的老太太。
數(shù)字方面，是次Listening Comprehension沒有聽寫電話號碼的題目，填寫年份的題倒有好幾道?？傤}數(shù)40道。

聽力：
Section1說兩個學(xué)生討論準(zhǔn)備一個學(xué)生電臺的事宜。 一開始有四道選擇題，答案靠得非常緊，而且不明顯。技巧是一開始一定要好好把選項都看完。第一題是關(guān)于資金來源，他們沒有來源，所以只好用自己的錢。選student fund。第二題是他們討論的內(nèi)容選 who will be in the participate.第三題是怎樣來選伙伴，有share the idea和 give the record ，我自己也不是很確定。第四題忘了，不過瞞容易的。然后接著是一個表格填充題，填一些每個人要做的工作和應(yīng)完成的時間，答案包括以下一些: Dec, time planning,還有就是說話的兩個人的名字可以在前面的選擇題里找出來。
Section2 開了個會，是會上的說明，一開始就是兩個空格很簡單，professor和teacher然后是一個關(guān)于開會時間地點和內(nèi)容的表格有 the ground floor, 3:10, Palm…之后是選擇題，選項有fish(C), $15(C), contain all the cost (D)
Section3 是一個海外留學(xué)生和他教授的談話。一開始是選擇題，有just complete her study in her country (A), 下一題選D內(nèi)容忘了只記得A選項是reading ability，然后是單句填空，最后一個填interest。接下來問答題，問how often did she do the job in hospital in vacation? How many times did she do the part time job? 還有一題答案是English language system.
還有一個Section是關(guān)于一幫墨西哥土人的歷史建筑的事。因為實在太快我的答案如下僅供參考，一開始幾個問答題。Live without tax,200years ago, castle和一個什么,然后是選擇，最后是單句填空，有common houses
聽力總體比較快，這次的section 1and 4比平時任何的雅思輔導(dǎo)聽力教材都快。迅速讀題很重要。另外有幾個建筑方面的詞匯拼不出來。原來想考8分的這次只好保6爭7了。
口語：
只要把新東方的口語題目全看一遍就足夠了。因為我語速快，那個考官問了我好多問題。但都很容易聽懂，因為新東方的材料上都有，有印象，考官一說幾個詞我就知道題目了，所以顯得我們之間的談話很自然，沒有什么冷場。
“Good afternoon I am John.”然后把錄音機指向我，我就對著錄音機笑著說，“I am xxx，
good afternoon.” 整個過程我就當(dāng)我是個大明星在接受采訪。
問題如下：
1. Do you study or work?
Tell me sth about your study. How about your dormitory?
What’s your typical day? What do you do at weekends? Why do you think you just live for the weekend?
What’s your main food? I mean in China.
What do you like to eat best? Do you often eat alone or with others? Do you like western food?

和新東方題目以及further question 都一樣。

大多考生此部分有一處未能聽出，至少我有些許氣餒。好在下一段話難度系數(shù)不大，使人做題情緒得以回升。一對藝術(shù)系的學(xué)生在商量如何錄制一檔錄像節(jié)目，要求考生聽出參加錄制工作的人員姓名、職務(wù)分工(編劇、導(dǎo)演還是攝影)、片名(A College Tour)、拍攝景物、采訪對象(如為何選擇采訪普通教師而非校長)、對作品質(zhì)量的擔(dān)憂何在以及下一次討論的時間。該部分位于考卷的第五頁和第六頁的上半部分。此處出了聽力部分乃至整個IELTS考試唯一的三道選擇題。So far, so good.
最后一部分是一位女教授的lecture，關(guān)于英國歷史上某一特定的土地輪作制度-Three Field System的歷史沿革及發(fā)展軌跡。該部分的題目篇幅很大，為第七、第八頁兩面大紙。不過千萬不要犯暈，這兩大篇之上只需考生填十個左右的空。由于整個講座的Outline已給出，在未聽磁帶之前，有好些空處已可大致猜出填空的內(nèi)容，是數(shù)字抑是專有名詞，是機構(gòu)名抑或是人名，是數(shù)詞 (年代、數(shù)目) 抑或是形容詞。這樣，可以有目的地去聽(listen with purpose)，答案決不會輕易錯過。雅思考試的友好之處由此可見一斑。在托福聽力考試中，考生只能通過閱讀題目及選項窺得錄音文本的冰山一角，且好容易搶讀到的選項可能為極具誤導(dǎo)性的錯誤選項。IELTS聽力試題則大大方方地將整個講話的summary呈現(xiàn)給考生，讓人一方面大罵鬼子低估中國人的英文水平，一方面反復(fù)質(zhì)疑：最后一部分是重頭戲，咋會這般簡單呢？總之，該部分不是整個聽力考試的最難處。此外，該教授真的很nice，全文以緩慢清晰的英文念出，象幼稚園的阿姨給小朋友講故事。我在心里默默祈禱明天的Interview考官也是這樣一位慈祥的老太太。
數(shù)字方面，是次Listening Comprehension沒有聽寫電話號碼的題目，填寫年份的題倒有好幾道?？傤}數(shù)40道。

聽力：
Section1說兩個學(xué)生討論準(zhǔn)備一個學(xué)生電臺的事宜。 一開始有四道選擇題，答案靠得非常緊，而且不明顯。技巧是一開始一定要好好把選項都看完。第一題是關(guān)于資金來源，他們沒有來源，所以只好用自己的錢。選student fund。第二題是他們討論的內(nèi)容選 who will be in the participate.第三題是怎樣來選伙伴，有share the idea和 give the record ，我自己也不是很確定。第四題忘了，不過瞞容易的。然后接著是一個表格填充題，填一些每個人要做的工作和應(yīng)完成的時間，答案包括以下一些: Dec, time planning,還有就是說話的兩個人的名字可以在前面的選擇題里找出來。
Section2 開了個會，是會上的說明，一開始就是兩個空格很簡單，professor和teacher然后是一個關(guān)于開會時間地點和內(nèi)容的表格有 the ground floor, 3:10, Palm…之后是選擇題，選項有fish(C), $15(C), contain all the cost (D)
Section3 是一個海外留學(xué)生和他教授的談話。一開始是選擇題，有just complete her study in her country (A), 下一題選D內(nèi)容忘了只記得A選項是reading ability，然后是單句填空，最后一個填interest。接下來問答題，問how often did she do the job in hospital in vacation? How many times did she do the part time job? 還有一題答案是English language system.
還有一個Section是關(guān)于一幫墨西哥土人的歷史建筑的事。因為實在太快我的答案如下僅供參考，一開始幾個問答題。Live without tax,200years ago, castle和一個什么,然后是選擇，最后是單句填空，有common houses
聽力總體比較快，這次的section 1and 4比平時任何的雅思輔導(dǎo)聽力教材都快。迅速讀題很重要。另外有幾個建筑方面的詞匯拼不出來。原來想考8分的這次只好保6爭7了。
口語：
只要把新東方的口語題目全看一遍就足夠了。因為我語速快，那個考官問了我好多問題。但都很容易聽懂，因為新東方的材料上都有，有印象，考官一說幾個詞我就知道題目了，所以顯得我們之間的談話很自然，沒有什么冷場。
“Good afternoon I am John.”然后把錄音機指向我，我就對著錄音機笑著說，“I am xxx，
good afternoon.” 整個過程我就當(dāng)我是個大明星在接受采訪。
