想要練好新托?？谡Z，至少要選一套好的教材。好的教材應(yīng)該情景分類，告訴你在什么場合說什么樣的話，最好能附有文化背景的介紹，因為東西方文化差異大，同樣的場景，用中式思想表達可能會鬧出不少笑話?？谡Z教材最好配有磁帶，以便模仿和記憶。建議選用由英、美國人編寫的經(jīng)典口語教材，例如《走遍美國》、《英語 900句》等。
口語教材選定以后, 就要反復跟磁帶模仿直至能完全背誦。如何檢驗自己對教材的掌握程度呢? 把句型的英文遮住，對著中文說英文，再把中文遮住，對著英文說中文，如果能流利做到這兩點，基本就算過了背誦這一關(guān)了。
另外，在學習過程中, 要特別注意那些與中式思維不同的表達方式， 比如說，“Would you mind giving me a push?” 很多人會不假思索地答“Yes, of course”， 其實正確回答應(yīng)該是“Not at all”。
