一般 empire 統(tǒng)治的時(shí)間都比較長(zhǎng),但是 Empire Akkadias..last short time. 文章給出 3 個(gè)原因
1. 民眾造反(被征服者的反抗 rebellion impaired government)
2. 氣候變化,降雨有時(shí)減少,食物供給不足
3. 老想在貿(mào)易上占個(gè)主動(dòng),別的國(guó)家都不樂(lè)意和他 們合作,貿(mào)易伙伴的制裁(trade resistance.)
講座的要點(diǎn):
1.不怪民眾造反,怪他們?cè)绨逊烙膲Σ鹆?。因?yàn)檫@ 個(gè) Akkad..帝國(guó)已經(jīng)有高墻,沒(méi)有外國(guó)侵略。反動(dòng)勢(shì)力在 Empire 初期已被消亡,即使有很少的存在也不成大氣候.
2. 盡管偶爾老天不助,他們?cè)缇蛯W(xué)會(huì)儲(chǔ)備食物了(和另 外一個(gè)技術(shù)還是什么,反正能整夠吃的)。這個(gè) Empire 有很好的 agriculture system,比如說(shuō) irrigation system.
3. 他們?cè)缫褜①Q(mào)易合作開(kāi)拓到很廣泛的程度,舉例:2 個(gè)地方。(searching for new trades)

講古代(L 開(kāi)頭單詞)的 cave painting 。 給了好大一幅馬的畫(huà),說(shuō)畫(huà)這些洞穴壁畫(huà)是跟 hunting 有關(guān)。
【1】畫(huà)的這些動(dòng)物比較大,還有一些箭的圖案,受傷的動(dòng)物,都是他們打獵的動(dòng)物。
【2】壁畫(huà)中有些人型動(dòng)物頭得圖案,說(shuō)是 因?yàn)樗麄兂３Ｓ脛?dòng)物頭偽裝成動(dòng)物打獵,所以
畫(huà)這些畫(huà)。
【3】說(shuō)是為了預(yù)祝他們打獵可以成功。
聽(tīng)力講座:
Lecture 里教授提出質(zhì)疑。
【1】畫(huà)里面還有很多他們不捕捉的小動(dòng)物, 比如說(shuō) cat,也有一些沒(méi)有箭頭,也沒(méi)有受傷
的動(dòng)物,所以不一定跟打獵有關(guān)
【2】他們除了用 animal heads 偽裝自己打獵 以外,這個(gè) heads 還有其他用途。
【3】好像跟神有關(guān)了,聽(tīng)的時(shí)候聽(tīng)懂了,結(jié) 果寫(xiě)完上面 2 點(diǎn),發(fā)現(xiàn)這點(diǎn)記不是很清楚了, 杯具啊!

閱讀說(shuō)：是人類(lèi)活動(dòng)把大型動(dòng)物搞死的。原因有三:
a 人類(lèi)出現(xiàn)和大動(dòng)物個(gè)屁同時(shí)發(fā)生;
b 大動(dòng)物向來(lái)沒(méi)天敵，所以對(duì)人類(lèi)沒(méi)有戒心，人就得手了;
c 人類(lèi)喜歡殺大動(dòng)物，所以小動(dòng)物就沒(méi)死吧.
講座說(shuō)：
a 同時(shí)出現(xiàn)不代表有因果關(guān)系，有很多地方?jīng)]有人但是動(dòng)物還不是個(gè)屁了，所以說(shuō)是一個(gè)全球性的影響，比如氣候;
b 沒(méi)證據(jù)表明人能搞死大動(dòng)物，況且古代人不在一個(gè)地方常駐，不可能把一個(gè)動(dòng)物搞絕跡;
c 小動(dòng)物也死了不少.

綜合寫(xiě)作：structures were designed as forts?
reading: No
1, walls are not surrounded the site of all sides, so the site is vunlnerable
2, many entranceways are on the walls. enemy can get into the site easily.
3, no evidence there were wells inside the site. lack of water make the city cannot bear the porlonged war
lecture: Yes
1, places where are no wall have natural protective
2, entrance can make peple in the site get out to defend the enemy before the enemy get closer to the site. And the entranceways are not wide. So, the enemy cannot get into it easily.
3, the enemy would not take much food and water with them during that time. Thus, if it is a prolonged war, it would be withdrawed.
