T1 【事件】
Do you think keeping pets is beneficial? Please explain your reasons.
有些人養(yǎng)寵物，像小狗和小貓。你認(rèn)為養(yǎng)寵物好嗎?請用理由和細(xì)節(jié)來解釋。
T2 【學(xué)習(xí)】
Some students prefer to go to university immediately after high school. Others prefer to take a break or work for a while before going to university. Which do you prefer and why? Use specific reasons and examples to support your response.
一些學(xué)生喜歡一從高中畢業(yè)就去上大學(xué);一些學(xué)生喜歡在上大學(xué)之前休息或工作一段時(shí)間。你更喜歡哪個(gè)?為什么?用具體原因和例子來解釋。
T3.閱讀部分：有學(xué)生summer時(shí)不在，希望能將公寓短期轉(zhuǎn)租，由于學(xué)校租金高，無法出租。
Lecture：女生說根本不是費(fèi)用問題
1. 學(xué)校租金已經(jīng)很低了，若是還租不出，學(xué)校應(yīng)該架設(shè)個(gè)網(wǎng)站，讓人可查詢哪里可以租;
2. 另外就是很多學(xué)生summer的時(shí)候都還會(huì)在，沒有這必要出租。
T4.Reading: tragedy of commons. 給了定義和解釋
Lecture:教授舉了兩個(gè)例子說明什么是tragedy of commons.
1. 其一是fishing.說當(dāng)然捕的魚多，掙的錢多。能access to ocean的人自然愿意去多fishing。但是一旦over fishing，大家就都finished out with no fish.
2. 其二是grazing. 說一個(gè)屬于整個(gè)village的草坪，大家都喜歡把自己的動(dòng)物帶來grazing，草吃完了長起來，大家就帶更多的動(dòng)物來，當(dāng)然草會(huì)被吃光了，然后就overgrazing了。
T5.P: 男生本來約好一個(gè)group discussing，是關(guān)于一個(gè)due on Monday的paper。但是男的父親周末五十大壽，他想回去celebrate。
1. 說向group member解釋一下，讓他們幫著help out。男的覺得說不好吧。
2. 男的自己有說要么就Sunday早點(diǎn)回來，然后還能趕上回來discuss。但是又不知道會(huì)不會(huì)讓他家里人disappointment。
T6.有時(shí)候動(dòng)物吃的東西不是我們想象中的東西，有時(shí)候會(huì)吃點(diǎn)亂七八糟的東西
1. 比如說earth or soil.他們吃這些東西是有作用的。然后舉兩個(gè)鳥的例子。一個(gè)是R鳥，吃soil是為了磨碎食物，這樣help digestion, 說因?yàn)轼B沒有牙吖，所以吃soil可以幫助把大的食物，esp. large seeds, 磨成small pieces.
2. 另一個(gè)是鸚鵡Parrot，吃soil可以neutralize失誤中的poison，這樣就不會(huì)get sick
講tax on gas, 為了減少碳排放污染.
閱讀部分三點(diǎn)反對這種稅款
1, 錯(cuò)誤經(jīng)濟(jì). 價(jià)格應(yīng)該準(zhǔn)確反映成本, 而不是為這種東西收錢
2, 不公平. 窮人富人都交一樣的稅, 窮人比較吃虧
3, 更好的措施, 要求美國車廠生產(chǎn)無污染的車, 這樣還可以增加國際競爭力.
聽力部分三點(diǎn)完美對應(yīng)：
1, 正確經(jīng)濟(jì). 現(xiàn)在的價(jià)格不能準(zhǔn)確反映成本, 比如汽車撞壞了路會(huì)要求修路, 還有治理環(huán)境污染都需要成本。
2, 公平. 可以依靠減少窮人的收入所得稅來彌補(bǔ)他們被征走的汽油稅。
3, 稅同樣可以增加競爭力. 由于價(jià)格提高了, 人們需求減少, 市場競爭就變得激烈, 車廠不得不改進(jìn)車輛質(zhì)量, 于是整體競爭力提高

Do you think it is a good thing to take plastic surgery?
I’d like to say that creativity is the most important trait that I admire most.
First, creativity is a trigger for people to gain knowledge. Take Steve Jobs – the father of the Apple incorporation as an example, he would never be so legendary without his creativity. Thanks to his curiosity, he successfully created a series of apple products.
Plus, creativity motivates people to explore the technology. People need to keep working day after day and the creativity plays a significant role in the research and study. A creative man is more likely to make breakthroughs in his field and this is how and why we have new stuff in our lives.
So I admire creativity most.
