今天主要學(xué)習(xí)兩個(gè)詞：“worth”和“worthy”, “worth”和“worthy”都是形容詞，表示“值得…的”，“相等于…的”，但在運(yùn)用上稍有不同：
“worth”的用法：be worth something或be worth doing something
I paid only 300 dollars for the used car, but it’s worth much more.
我花了300元買(mǎi)了這輛二手車(chē)，實(shí)際上它遠(yuǎn)不止這個(gè)價(jià)格。
The book is worth reading.這本書(shū)值得一讀。
That movie sucks; it wasn’t worth watching at all.
那部電影太糟糕了，根本不值得一看。
The new red dress is worth the money.
這條紅裙子值這個(gè)價(jià)錢(qián)。
Playing computer games isn’t worth you time, stop it now.
玩電腦游戲是浪費(fèi)你的時(shí)間，馬上停下來(lái)，不要玩了。
“worthy”的用法：be worthy of something
Your proposal is worthy of support.
你的主張值得支持。
Your behavior is worthy of praise.
你的行為值得表?yè)P(yáng)。
She isn’t worthy of mention.
她不足一提。
The marketing campaign is worthy of our effort.
這個(gè)市場(chǎng)活動(dòng)值得我們?yōu)橹Α?BR> “worthwhile”也是個(gè)形容詞，表示“值得…的”，this is a worthwhile experiment. 這是一項(xiàng)值得做的實(shí)驗(yàn)。
