題目：
Governments should focus on solving the immediate problems of today rather than on trying to solve the anticipated problems of the future.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.
解析：
題干提出觀點(diǎn)：政府應(yīng)集中解決眼前的麻煩而不是試圖解決未來可能會遇到的問題。
要求對此觀點(diǎn)表明你的觀點(diǎn)，是同意還是反對到何種程度，并需要解釋原因。
寫文章時，先清楚闡述急需解決的問題和未來可能出現(xiàn)的問題之間的關(guān)系，且一定要從政府這一角度入手，論證為什么你認(rèn)為要先解決當(dāng)前問題或者為什么要解決未來的問題等。
思路：
1.政府急需解決的問題有：貧富差距懸殊，環(huán)境污染，失業(yè)率增長，就業(yè)率過低，義務(wù)教育得不到落實(shí)等等，這些都是從人民生活實(shí)際出發(fā)，只有解決了這些，才能使得社會穩(wěn)定，打好根基等。
2.未來可能會出現(xiàn)的問題可能是短期內(nèi)無法準(zhǔn)確預(yù)知的，雖然提前解決是未雨綢繆，但肯定還是先分清輕重緩急，并沒有解決眼前的問題來的急迫和緊要。
3. 從政府職能出發(fā)：先保障人民生活和基本權(quán)益，才能更好發(fā)展其它方面，比如高科技，軍事等領(lǐng)域。如果不及時解決immediate problems of today，可能會引發(fā)更多的anticipated problems of the future，會導(dǎo)致惡性循環(huán)，這也不是所有人愿意看到的。
