GMAT是Graduate Management Admission Test的縮寫(xiě)，中文名稱(chēng)為經(jīng)企管理研究生入學(xué)考試。一般來(lái)講，除了系統(tǒng)維護(hù)和節(jié)假日外，GMAT考場(chǎng)每周一到周五都可以接納考生考試，每天可以安排3場(chǎng)考試，分別是上午9點(diǎn)，下午1點(diǎn)半和晚上5點(diǎn)半?？荚嚂r(shí)間是3個(gè)半小時(shí)。

GMAT考試內(nèi)容為：數(shù)學(xué)、語(yǔ)文和分析寫(xiě)作。GMAT考試內(nèi)容包括七個(gè)部分試題，每個(gè)Section的考試時(shí)間為30分鐘，其中有閱讀理解、句子改錯(cuò)、問(wèn)題求解、數(shù)據(jù)填充以及原因評(píng)述各一個(gè)部分。剩下兩個(gè)部分的題型分布都不一樣。這七個(gè)Sections試題中有一個(gè)是試測(cè)性部分，不計(jì)入GMAT成績(jī)。但由于分辨不出哪個(gè)Section不計(jì)分，因此所有部分的試題均要認(rèn)真回答。
GMAT考試內(nèi)容考察主要包括基本語(yǔ)言能力和數(shù)學(xué)能力。基本語(yǔ)言能力部分著重考察閱讀理解的能力和是否掌握標(biāo)準(zhǔn)書(shū)面英語(yǔ)的規(guī)則。數(shù)學(xué)能力部分則主要測(cè)試基本數(shù)學(xué)，對(duì)基礎(chǔ)數(shù)學(xué)概念的了解以及解釋數(shù)學(xué)問(wèn)題和數(shù)據(jù)的能力。考題中并不涉及經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)各專(zhuān)業(yè)中的具體內(nèi)容或特殊的專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)，而是要求考生對(duì)某些復(fù)雜紛紜的問(wèn)題做出正確的分析和判斷，制定解決問(wèn)題的方法。

GMAT考試結(jié)束后，考生可以根據(jù)自己在考試中的表現(xiàn)，選擇保留或取消本次考試成績(jī)，從而一定程度上避免因?yàn)楸憩F(xiàn)較差導(dǎo)致的低分被計(jì)入成績(jī)單中。但即使考試選擇了取消成績(jī)，成績(jī)單上仍會(huì)出現(xiàn)一個(gè)代表取消的“C”，對(duì)于追求完美的考生來(lái)說(shuō)多少有些心里不踏實(shí)的感覺(jué)，而本次改變后，此標(biāo)示將被徹底刪除，以后也不會(huì)再顯示在成績(jī)單上，考生可以更加放心刷分，而不必?fù)?dān)心因此留下任何記錄。而之前考試成績(jī)單中的取消標(biāo)示，也將被一并刪除。
