泗州戲原名“拉魂腔”，是安徽省四大漢族戲曲劇種之一，流行于安徽淮河兩岸，距今已有二百多年的歷史。泗州戲的唱腔隨意性很強(qiáng)，表演形式受戲曲程式規(guī)范的影響不大，具有深厚的群眾基礎(chǔ)和豐富的文化底蘊(yùn)，充滿濃郁的皖北鄉(xiāng)土氣息。2006年，泗州戲被列入第一批國(guó)家級(jí)非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)名錄。

Sizhou Opera, originally called Lahunqiang Opera, is one of the four great opera genres in Anhui Province. It is popular in the riverside area of Huaihe River in Anhui Province, and so far it has been in existence for over 200 years. In the performance, its tune is fairly free and its performance is barely affected by the conventionized form. This opera has a rich cultural tradition and a mass appeal thanks to its strong flavor of rural life in Northern Anhui Province. In 2006, Sizhou Opera was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
