People in Wuqiao have particular preference for acrobatics. Whether in the streets and lanes, or the wheat fields, even at the table or on their traditional heated adobe sleeping platforms, they perform acrobatics. In 2006, the State Council approved the inclusion of Wuqiao Acrobatics into the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
