倫敦奧運(yùn)會(huì)男子吊環(huán)決賽中，中國選手陳一冰以完美的動(dòng)作贏得了一枚銀牌，引發(fā)不少質(zhì)疑。也有人提出疑問，為何中國隊(duì)不申訴。

China was gagged from appealing because the two shared the same 6.8 difficulty and rules stipulate execution scores cannot be altered.
因兩人難度分同為6.8，而（國際體聯(lián)）規(guī)定完成分是不能更改的，所以中國隊(duì)無法提出申訴。
Appeal就是“申訴”，“對(duì)…提出申訴”在美式英語中可以直接用appeal something，英式英語則用appeal against something，如：appeal (against) the decision。國際體聯(lián)規(guī)定，運(yùn)動(dòng)員只能對(duì)自己的difficulty（難度分）進(jìn)行申訴，對(duì)自己的execution score（完成分）、對(duì)方的難度分和完成分都不能申訴。
在法律用語中，appeal指“上訴”，也就是對(duì)之前的判決不滿，要上訴到高一級(jí)法院重新審理，多用appeal to a higher court against a sentence表示。
