pretend means make pretensions,表示假裝，矯作的意思。
這里，我們來(lái)看一下下列幾個(gè)詞：pretend、feign、assume、affect ,都含"假裝"的意思。
pretend指"感覺(jué)到某事,而在言行上裝出是真的",如: pretend not to hear 假裝沒(méi)聽(tīng)見(jiàn)。
feign指"精心裝有或裝作",如:feign deafness 裝聾。
assume指"裝出有某種感情的樣子,以掩飾其真正的感情",如:

Purpose-the thing that an event, process, or activity is supposed to achieve, or the job that something is supposed to do，意圖；目的。What is his purpose in coming?他來(lái)的意圖是什么？
