在第三課里，您將學(xué)習(xí)如何在酒店前臺(tái)迎接客人和如何說(shuō)房間號(hào)
碼。您需要練習(xí)諸如“I’ll”, 和“we’ll” 等縮略語(yǔ)和有關(guān)方位的介
詞。您也會(huì)學(xué)習(xí)并練習(xí)禮貌用詞或是說(shuō)是和不是。這一部分包括如
何為客人辦理入住手續(xù)。先請(qǐng)您聽酒店前臺(tái)接待員利奧與剛抵達(dá)的
客人的對(duì)話。

Mona : Hi, I’m Mona White.
同時(shí)入住的還有蒙納懷特的父親，杰克偉博
Jack: Hi, I’m Jack Webber.
他們兩個(gè)人剛剛從墨爾本抵達(dá)酒店。在我們繼續(xù)課程之前，我有一
點(diǎn)要提醒您注意，那就是根據(jù)西方的文化習(xí)俗，在與客人面對(duì)面交
流的時(shí)候您一定要直視對(duì)方的眼睛并面帶微笑，否則的話西方文化
背景的客人就會(huì)誤以為你是不尊重他。

接下來(lái)請(qǐng)看利奧是如何向客人解釋房間預(yù)定情況的
利奧: 我為您預(yù)定了402 和403 房間。
Leo: I’ve reserved rooms 402 and 403 for you.
英語(yǔ)中房間號(hào)碼的說(shuō)法通常是先說(shuō)樓層，然后是房間的號(hào)碼。例如
三樓十一號(hào)房間就是Room three-eleven。我們不能說(shuō)Room three
hundred and eleven。
Room six- fourteen.
Room five-oh-seven.
Room two-oh-nine.
蒙納: 我們想要安靜一點(diǎn)的房間，謝謝您。
