abundant 豐富的、大量的。指某一地大量出產某物，某一處大量存在某物，遠遠超過所需。

plentiful 充裕的，足夠的、很多的。指大量存在，多的用不完，與abundant詞義同，但不同之處在于abundant限于對某一地，某一處的觀察，而plentiful則無此限。

rich 很多的。最普通的用語，指人錢多財多。此外，與介詞in或者with搭配，后接物品，表示某物大量存在。

ample 豐富的、充足的。指稍多，稍有節(jié)余。
we have ample money for the journey.我們有充足的路費。
luxuriant 豐富的、多產的。一般用來指植物生長茂密，還可以用作比喻。
