What is the first thing I do when I get up in the morning? I pondered this question as I did with a previous question and found myself again curious as to what my children who are of the ages of 12, 15 and 17 would say. Here's their list along with some of my thoughts:
1. Moan and Groan
2. turn the alarm clock off
3. Tell dogs to go back to bed
4. Run to the bathroom
5. Pray
6. Hit the snooze button on the alarm clock
7. Roll over and go back to sleep
8. Turn the computer on
9. Start laundry
10. Take my neighbor's paper to her door
11. Jump in the shower to wake up
One of the first things I do every morning when I get up is to feed the chickens, ducks, bunnies, goats, turkeys, dogs, cats and inside birds. After they are all fat and happy I go for a run with my Ipod （music player） in hand. How about you, what do you do first thing in the morning?
