discover，invent
這兩個(gè)詞都是動(dòng)詞，都指人們首先見(jiàn)到的新鮮事物而言，但涵義有異。
Discover指初次看見(jiàn)本來(lái)已存在但以前未被發(fā)現(xiàn)的事物（to find out something existing but not yet known），故作“發(fā)現(xiàn)”解。如：

有時(shí)候，invent還可作“捏造”解。例：
