In accordance with the instructions in your memorandum of June 11, I have made a survey to determine the advisability of establishing a warehouse in Taipei. The results of my investigation, as well as my conclusion and recommendations, are in the accompanying report.
In addition to the careful study given to our markets in Taiwan, this report has sought to embody the thinking of our major competitors who recently announced similar plans for branch warehouses.
Although the bibliography included in this report is self– xplanatory, special acknowledgment should be made to Mr. Ben Pearsey of the Sales Department for the market information he supplied. The Trade Publishing Company of Taipei was also very helpful.
