Many of us are not willing to describe the process of studying English with the word“enjoyable?．For most of us，English study means complicated grammar，tremendous vocabulary and annoying structure analysis，in brief，abig torture．How can we keep progress with this passive attitude？And how can we attain success without the continuous push of the sense of achievement？For me，the first and foremost thing accessing to success is to establish the correct attitude towards English study．
Then you may ask me：“what's the criterion to judge whether an attitude is‘correct'or‘incorrect'？”The answer is to change“passive” into“active”as well as“suffer”into“enjoy”． Sounds abstract？Well，a vivid analogy is to make yourself fall in love with the language as if you are falling in love with a beauty，and you are attracted by“her”charm，overwhelmed by“her”wisdom and try to get along with“her” all the time．Only if you love her，you'll put your heart and soulinto acquainting her．
Secondly，success in English study lies in effective study methods．
As we know，English study is a comprehensive procedure，including listening，speaking，reading and writing．Every aspect is essential in the process of advancing．But most of us have developed a relatively high ability to write while few students can use their mouths and ears efficiently，which leads to enormous amounts of“dumb-and-deaf English”．As far as my experience is concerned，reading massively and selectively，appreciating some excellent foreign films as well as taking part in English corners are all beneficial．That's to say，every time you have the chance to touch English，do catch it！No matter where，no matter when． Provided you can share the time properly and distinguish the emphasis on which you have to work hard，you'll get twice as much achievement while using half as much energy．
The last and decisive point is“practice”． It's known to all that“practice makes perfect”． Even the genius is based on years of pains taking work．Of course，practice doesn't mean holding the vocabulary book from dawn until night but simply let English penetrate intoyour daily life and construct a part of our habit．For instance，since I'm a finance major，I usually use some financial terms even when making jokes．I remember once a friend asked me：“Will you be a postgraduate after four years？” and I replied in this way：“Well，by analyzing the cost and revenue as well as considering my preference，I'll choose to continue my study with a probability of 99％．” Another example，one of my friends once spoke very poor English and of course she never had the courage to speak English in front of others．She was anxious about it and asked me for help．So every Friday I“forced”her to go to the English corner together with me and I urged her to speak． But what has to be mentioned is we never went to the English corner without any preparation．Before we went，we always recited some excellent and usual phrases in order that we could“show them off”there．Gradually， since we were often praised by others for our“original”and“sophisticated”use of phrases，my friend's confidence was brought up．Till now，she can speak English so fluently that you can't imagine the level her English she once was previously．In conclusion，I want to say to you all：“Where there is a will，there is a way．”
In a word，the English world is a seven-colored world illuminated with our determination and will power．When our aspiration becomes reality，success will be extremely easy to obtain．
In this world，you can fly freely towards your dreams；
In this world，you can pick the flowers of success；
In this world，you can embrace the sun of hope．
So my friends，please，do join in this world，this splendid world！
