Courage is the ladder on which all the other virtues mount. —— Luce
    勇氣是一架梯子，其他美德全靠它爬上去。 —— 盧斯
    mount means to climb or ascend，是指攀登，登上的意思。
    例如：
    mount stairs.
    登上樓梯
    The old lady can mount the stairs only with difficulty.
    這位老婦人上樓梯十分艱難。
    mount also means to place oneself upon; get up on，指騎上，走上使自己登上去；上到…上的意思。
    例如：
    mount a horse; mount a platform.
    騎上馬；登上臺(tái)，走上臺(tái)
    其常用的短語(yǔ)有：
    be well [poorly] mounted
    騎著好[劣]馬
    get down from one's mount
    下馬
