“Good”和“bad”是兩個(gè)尖銳的反義詞,在慣用語(yǔ)中,也時(shí)時(shí)可見。下面便是些例子:
    1. For one's own good:對(duì)某人有利
    It is advisable for a person to learn a new language; it is for his own good.
    2. In someone's good books : 令某人喜歡
    Tom has changed for the better and is now in our good books.
    3. Do someone good:對(duì)某人有好處
