成語(yǔ)解釋是將漢語(yǔ)中的一些成語(yǔ)用英語(yǔ)解釋出來(lái)。寫(xiě)作時(shí)要注意準(zhǔn)確，句子要盡量流暢。首先要把成語(yǔ)的含義吃透。然后再把成語(yǔ)故事的大意進(jìn)行義譯。不要按照漢語(yǔ)的意思進(jìn)行對(duì)號(hào)入座的直譯。要按英語(yǔ)的表達(dá)方式表達(dá)句義。注意同義表達(dá)，使用最有把握的句子。

He made a mark on the side of the boat where he dropped the sword, hoping to find it again later on.
