總論里我們講過1-2-3-4-5-6的句型結(jié)構(gòu)模式，其中3的位置就是賓語，也就是2這個動作的承受體。當(dāng)3不能簡單地用一個單詞或一個名詞性短語來表達(dá)時，就需要一個句子，這個句子依然是在3的位置上，所以，就是賓語從句。
示例1：Many people pretend that they understand modern art.
示例2：They always tell you what a picture is about.
示例3：I think that young children often appreciate modern pictures better than anyone else does.
示例4：She always tells me whether my pictures are good or not.
2.定語從句
示例：We like them in the same way that we like pretty curtain material.(that作為關(guān)系代詞，替代的內(nèi)容是in the way)
