接待客戶(hù)在商務(wù)往來(lái)過(guò)程中起著非常重要的作用。它是推銷(xiāo)準(zhǔn)備過(guò)程的延伸,又是實(shí)質(zhì)性接觸客戶(hù)的開(kāi)始。接待客戶(hù)是指在實(shí)質(zhì)性洽談之前,銷(xiāo)售人員努力獲得客戶(hù)接見(jiàn)并相互了解的過(guò)程,是實(shí)質(zhì)性洽談的前奏。
    Dialogue
    A: Good morning, Mr. Smith. I'm Yang, Mr. Yao's secretary. Would you like to see around the factory?/早上好,史密斯先生。我姓楊,姚先生的秘書(shū)。你想先看看我們的工廠(chǎng)嗎?
    B: Yes, I'd.../是的,我想...
    A: Now this is our office block. We have all the administrative department here Sales, Accounts, Personnel, Market Research and so on./這是我們的辦公區(qū)。我們所有的行政部門(mén)都設(shè)在這兒:銷(xiāo)售部、會(huì)計(jì)部、人事部、市場(chǎng)調(diào)研部等。
    B: What's that building opposite us?/對(duì)面是什么建筑?
    A: That's the warehouse where the large items of office equipment are stored. We try to keep a stock of the faster-moving items so that urgent orders can be met quickly from stock./那是倉(cāng)庫(kù),用來(lái)貯存比較大的辦公設(shè)備。我們盡量貯存一些銷(xiāo)售得比較快的設(shè)備以便救急之用。
    B: If I ordered a desk today, how would it be before I got delivery in Scotland? /假如我今天預(yù)訂一張辦公桌,如何在蘇格蘭提貨呢?
    A: Well, I think perhaps you'd better speak to our works Manager, Mr. Yao. You'll meet him when we go over to the factory./噢,我想你還是和我們的生產(chǎn)經(jīng)理姚先生談?wù)?。到了工廠(chǎng)你便能見(jiàn)到他了。
