practical, practicable
這兩個詞都是形容詞，拼法相近，但詞義不同。
Practical的涵義是“實際的”、“實用的”，如practical English實用英語； practical chemistry應用化學。它指具有實際的經(jīng)驗、某事物切合實際或?qū)嶋H可用，可用于人或事物。例：
Our boss is a practical man.

改革教育的時候，我們應當特別注重實用教育?？荚嚧?BR> Practicable的涵義是“可用的”、“可實行的”（feasible），它指某個項目或計劃有實行的可能，但尚未加以發(fā)展或試驗，只用于事物。例：
That was a practical plan, but, owing to a change of circumstances, it no longer proved practicable.
那是一個實際的方案，但由于情況的改變，它變得不適用了。
I don’t think it is something practicable.
我認為它不是切實可行的。
請注意，practical在某些場合下，還可以表示“有實際經(jīng)驗的”、“講究實用的”、“注重實際的”、“經(jīng)驗豐富的”等意。如：
