哥倫比亞政府9日發(fā)表公報(bào)宣布，總統(tǒng)烏里韋日前批準(zhǔn)把哥第二大國(guó)際販毒團(tuán)伙卡利集團(tuán)的頭目希爾韋托·羅德里格斯·奧雷胡埃拉引渡到美國(guó)接受審判。新華社報(bào)道如下：Colombian President Alvaro Uribe on Tuesday approved the extradition of one of the country's most notorious drug lords, former Cali cocaine cartel boss Gilberto Rodriguez Orejuela, to the United States for trial.
Led by Rodriguez Orejuela and his brother Miguel, the Cali group had grown into the world's top drug cartel in the late 1980safter the downfall of its rival Medellin.
