Recently a survey has been done to find out the job choice of senior middle school students. This survey was conducted among 200 senior middle school students, 100 of whom are boys and the others are girls. They were asked which job they would prefer to choose among four jobs: scientist, manager, teacher, businessman and lawyer.
As is shown in the graph, boys and girls prefer to become managers in the future while there is a slightly lower percentage in choosing businessmen and lawyers. Meanwhile, 25 percent of the boys and 20 percent of the girls would like to be a scientist. However, there is a big difference in choosing teachers as their jobs between boys and girls. 30 percent of the girls prefer to be a teacher, but only 5 percent of the boys choose it as an ideal job. By analyzing the data, it is suggested that the difference of preferences to jobs may be related to the different characters of boys and girls
