聽力:本部分考了三個(gè)section, 共九個(gè)段子。
    1.長對話:女:student 男:school administrator
    女生問是否可以sign up for the trip to Art Museum. 男人說不可以,because the computer shows that you already signed up for this trip last October.
    女生解釋說yes, I signed up for that trip last year, but I didn’t go. Because I got my muscle injured the day before the trip.
    男人問:what did you do then? Did you call to cancel it or you just didn’t show up?
    女生:er…I am not sure about it. But I don’t quite remember I called. But I really have to go to that Art Museum because this is required by my art professor.
    男人:well, then you created a bit of situation. (注:此處出了道題問這句話什么意思)。Since you didn’t cancel your reservation, you already used up your chance. You know the trip has been very popular and the seats on bus are always limited. We cannot let anyone take all our resources.
    女生進(jìn)一步請求問:which means I cannot go, right?
    男人:strictly speaking, yes. But what I can do is to put you on the top of the waiting list, so that if anybody cannot go and call to cancel his reservation, you will be on the bus.
    女生:thanks, but what shall I do? Shall I call you in advance to make sure that I can go?
    男人:no, you simply go to the bus stop directly. There is always somebody who is sick or oversleeps or something else. You must be able to find an empty seat on that bus.
    袁昊老師點(diǎn)評:長對話題的出題思路相對固定。一般肯定限定在一男一女之間。且兩人中一個(gè)肯定是學(xué)生,另一個(gè)是學(xué)校的教授或者是行政管理人員。如果我們進(jìn)一步分析,立刻會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)幾乎所有的對話都是學(xué)生有學(xué)術(shù)上,或者生活上的問題,然后向教授或者是學(xué)校的管理人員尋求幫助。可以參見我對2006年10月29日托??碱}的長對話點(diǎn)評。
    我們再進(jìn)一步分析,長對話題的可能考點(diǎn)應(yīng)該集中在什么地方呢?
    1、學(xué)生的問題是什么,必考。
    2、學(xué)生問題的成因,可能考。
    3、管理人員或是教授同意或不同意幫助該學(xué)生,必考。而且無論你是否聽懂,答案都出奇的一致:管理人員或者教授毫無例外的一開始先強(qiáng)調(diào)不能通融,然后給出一堆不能通融的原因。無非是學(xué)校規(guī)章不允許,慣例不允許之類的。(注意:托福聽力只涉及學(xué)校范圍內(nèi)的事,所以必然是用學(xué)校規(guī)章作理由)。最后無論教授還是管理人員都肯定會(huì)給予學(xué)生幫助。這是完全不聽也不允許選錯(cuò)的。
    4、管理人員或者教授幫助學(xué)生的方法,可能考。
    5、猶豫處,停頓處,重復(fù)處或者是特別提高聲調(diào)處,必考。常常問此處說話者為什么使用這種語氣?;蛘邌栒f話者在此處想表達(dá)什么。
    6、最后一句話,可能考,但是可能的概率很大。因?yàn)樽詈笠痪湓挸32皇亲置嫔系囊馑?,同學(xué)們需要在聯(lián)系整個(gè)語境的基礎(chǔ)上判斷。
