    本課主要介紹城市出現(xiàn)的原因以及城市發(fā)展的過程以及人們對待城市的態(tài)度。通過本課的學習我們應(yīng)該對城市的歷史演變過程有一個概括的了解,掌握城市形成的背景知識,并且能夠讀懂報紙雜志中相關(guān)文章,就有關(guān)城市的話題與外國人進行熟練的交流與討論。
    本課主要講述可美國城市的發(fā)展以及美國人對待城市的不同態(tài)度.有些美國人認為城市是美國文明的象征,另外一些人卻不這樣認為,在他們眼中,城市是邪惡的源泉。雖然美國人不喜歡他們居住的城市, 但畢竟四分之三的美國人住在城市.美國人正在為他們的錯誤態(tài)度付出代價。
