    有一些行業(yè)的職稱或職務(wù)系列中，級(jí)別的職位冠以“首席”一詞，英語(yǔ)常用chief來(lái)表示，例如：
    首席執(zhí)行官 chief executive officer （CEO）
    首席法官 chief judge
    首席記者 chief correspondent
    有些頭銜會(huì)含諸如“代理”、“常務(wù)”、“執(zhí)行”、“名譽(yù)”這類稱謂語(yǔ)，例如：
    代理市長(zhǎng) acting mayor
    常務(wù)理事 managing director
    執(zhí)行主席 executive chairman/chair （或presiding chairman）
    名譽(yù)校長(zhǎng) honorary president
    有些職稱或職務(wù)帶有“主任”、“主治”、“特級(jí)”、“特派”、“特約”等頭銜，英譯不盡相同，例如：
    主任秘書(shū) chief secretary
    主治醫(yī)師 attending/chief doctor； physician； consultant
    特級(jí)教師 special-grade senior teacher
    特派記者 accredited correspondent
    特約編輯 contributing editor
